There is a huge sense of duty by the west to elevate the third world to their position. this is because they feel maternal for these people - it is natural to want to feel like a good person and smite suffering anywhere it goes. is this happening?

If you were to observe a typical donation to the third world, you would see much being done for the rich of that country, just like in the west. they do not build new infrastructure unless they have to, they do not buy welfare food or set up programs for the poor, they let it go to the rich to and to make sure the rich do not suffer, and, the middle class. the poor get nothing out of these packages. if they did they would not need missionaries.

The missionaries, on the other hand, are there to hand out bibles. they get meager medicine to use and dish out, they get barely sufficient food and other things, but, they get plenty of bibles. this is because the west wants to feel they are doing the lord's work, that is what they signed up for, yes? this is because the west wants to feel they are making them celebrate with their newly acquired friend jesus and they are thankful to the west, making the west feel better about themselves in their favourite past time; brainwashing, wait, liberty and freedom. what delivering these people bibles has to do with this though is not something i understand.

So, back to the topic - conserving the third world. how do we not go in there and force changes? this would be where we need to 'stop culture from manifesting' and basically dominate the living rooms of these people.

Why do we do these things, if not to feel better about ourselves, somehow?
