Construction of the new U.S. border wall, seen from the air Silly waste of money. There are so many other more important projects we could spend the money on. Sad. One question: Along the Rio Grande, where the border is in the middle of the river, where are you building the wall? Is it going to be placed on the river bank on the U.S. side & give the whole river to Mexico? Or, is it going to be built in the smack dab middle of the river itself, which would both incredibly costly, subject to failure during seasonal floods, and incredibly stupid. Or, do we simply ignore this portion of our boundary with Mexico and depend on an electronic surveillance system instead?
