Oh dear it looks as if the leftist loyal media has been generating fake news again, and this time it is in reference to New Zealanders falling all over one another to give up their guns in the wake of the horrific massacre last week. They . . . are . . . not. In fact they are buying more guns to protect themselves. Ooops!

Problem is this wont be a US style ban, there will be a mandatory confiscation under threat of imprionment. Probably in excess of 10 years prison fot failing to comply.

 

To be fair, the numbers of semi-autos that were made illegal I read was closer to 13k. High cap magazines are also banned but of course they have no idea how many of those are in circulation. The MSM is pushing stories of a handful of individuals who are gladly handing over their guns.

 

O dear ... so there are still countries in the world that are not as degenerate and idiotic in terms of weapons law as the US. It is still hope!

At some point, you have to wonder why some folks in New Zealand want to live like they would if they lived in China...

 

An appropriate question for the police in New Zealand would be, once you take the weapons away from the law abiding folks, how do you protect the folks who won't have a way to protect themselves? And when they fail, and they will, will New Zealand take on the accountability for their failures? If someone with unlicensed weapons shows up again, and police fail to protect, then what?

 

And why that? Because they do not accept AR-15 rifles and automatic guns ... they want to live in Chian for you? Lol ...

Almost every German I know who lives in Germans has guns. Rifles, pistols, shotguns...

You know ... there are actually a lot of civilized countries outside the US, including New Zealand, who see in a gun exactly what they are - a potentially lethal distance weapon ... not an everyday item like the US ! Therefore, there are far fewer people who think they have to arm themselves to the teeth, as if they live in a war zone ... which is also because the corresponding scum, also far less often has a gun or used a gun.
As a result, people in these countries also have far greater confidence in their police that they are protected by it and therefore they also give the police the monopoly of force to protect citizens!

I know ... sounds completely unbelievable and like coming from another planet for many Americans! Unfortunately, that's a fact that you'll probably never understand in the US.

 

And how many Germans do you know?
In Germany in 2018 there were a total of 5.37 million registered firearms, including 3.5 million one-shot hunting or sporting weapons - rifles - of caliber 5.56mm upwards. Followed by 1,200,000 pistols, of which 2/3 are registered with security diners, ie companies that are the German counterpart to US companies such as Brinks Security and make money transports etc.
The rest are actually privately owned pistols, including those used exclusively for sport shooting.
Anyone with a legal AR-15 you will not find here at us ...
