Surprise, surprise. Hollywood pedophilia ring comes to the surface. It is rather sickening to think of Hollywood moguls preying on young children actors. It's even more sickening to know they are going to get away with it. For my part I will boycott these sickos. If the movie isn't on free TV I won't be watching it. And the media is doing their part by not covering this story like they would have if it had been Michael Jackson. They are just as guilty. Now that I think about it they probably are in the ring. Sick pukes. Hollywood needs to be tore down and buried permanently.

Corey Feldman has been discredited and humiliated by mainstream Hollywood. Maybe some of that was brought on by
his own self destructive/drug behaviour yes. However it is a well known fact he was molested and what he
talks about in terms of the wide spread child molestation is true and I can not help but wonder if part of his
being discredited is because of what he is trying to fight.

I personally think he is trying to bring attention to a serious issue not withstanding people who think he's
a nut case. Sure he has psychological issues, we all do but people can check out what he is saying for
    themselves.

I think most of us have some idea just how depraved Hollywood is. Hollywood Babylon for example exposed
it. The question is, people know but don't want to know.

The one thing about sexual exploitation in Hollywood is it gets children, women, men, everyone.

Its just entrenched in the entertainment and music industry.

And yet he refuses to name names. There is no legal reason not to name names. Truth is an absolute defense to defamation.

I don't agree that people don't want to know. When Michael Jackson was being accused the people couldn't get enough of it. It's all the news talked about for weeks. I think it is more that people are not being told enough about Corey's situation. The blatant non coverage is an obvious admission of guilt.

He named the person who was already convicted of another offense. He doesn't name the name of his molesters. Unless he witnessed Haim being molested, he cannot testify to what happened. He could testify as to what happened to him. He refuses to. He is enabling the alleged molestations by refusing to name his assailants

True. Would you be quick to point the finger at a known mob member or would you think twice about the repercussions.

He should make a formal complaint at the police and then the media will jump on it, they are voltures but they can be directed, expose them and hang 'em high.

I bet the situation for women actresses is much much worse that it becomes a norm, make a few arrests to scare the rest of them IMO...

I wouldn't go around claiming to be a victim of the mob if I wasn't willing to name names. Even if the statute of limitations ran in his case, perhaps his speaking openly about the individuals involved would prompt their victims upon whom the SOL had not run to come forward similar to what is being seen with the Bill Cosby cases.

Absolutely. It is not just kids it's everyone. Adults can make their own decisions. Child stars are pushed to be stars by their greedy parents or guardian. I would love to see justice served here but doubt anything will come from it.

Why should all of Hollywood be blamed for the actions of some? It is the same with how the media attacks the Catholic Church. Most Catholic Priests do not abuse children but if you listened to the media you would think they do. Most Roman Catholic Priests are wonderful people. I am sure that most people in Hollywood are good people too.

I think you are referring to the "other Corey" (Haim). This one has been doing alright, IMO. He was the "good Corey".

(Hey - don't look at me like that - My girlfriend of the era was doing a case about them =) )

OFC, but I dont think that was the intention of the OP, there are some there that are so rich and famous and loved that they feel they can do anything, to make things worse ppl come to them to get a shot at fame, IMO - its no diffrent from a boss sexusal harassment there too he holds power over his employees, should be regulated the same way.

I think that harassment of minors is a lot more serious than what happened at Fox News for example. If a female employee puts up with harassment for years and actually is complicit to further her career then why should anyone care about what she is putting up with? This kind of thing is regulated by sexual harassment laws - and if these females had reported abuse right away and could prove it then they would have no problems. You cant 'put up' with abuse for yers and then one day decide that you want to sue a company. But yes children do need to be protected and the first line of defense for them is their parents. If a kid is abused and does not tell their parents right away then I think that there is some kind of parenting problem present. I am guessing that Corey Feldmans parents were not the greatest parents in the world if they allowed these things to happen to their son and their son did not come to them right away to tell them about the abuse so that something could be done about it.

We have laws to regulate society and people behaviour but is people are not going to use those laws to protect themselves then is that the fault of society? Or is it the 'victims' own fault?

Wherever there are kids there be abusers lurking and Hollywood isn't any more likely a spot to find them than anywhere else.

Naive to think most people are inherently good. Very naive to think most of the people in Hollywood are good. Hollywood (industry) is mostly made of gangsters I have never met a gangster that was a good person. I've met gangsters that believe they are good people because they do good things to make up for the bad things they do. The DOC (dept. of corrections) has coined a term for this it's called the good guy criminal thinking error. That's why you see so many people from Hollywood becoming philanthropist. There is a correlation between guilt and charity.

Yup you are a lost soul! It's the victim's own fault... tear down the shelter your parents built over your brain. It's clouding your judgement.

Wrong! Consider the population of LA versus Galena Illinois. I would put my life savings on the line that LA has more cho mos (child molestators) then Galena.

I said "if people do not use those laws to protect themselves". I did not blame any 'victim', all I am saying is that if a crime is committed against you and you do not tell the authorities immediately then the any further crime committed against this individual by the same person or people is really not a crime because the 'victim' is complicit. And if they did not report the original crime then they are complicit with it as well - so when a 'victim' fails to report a crime then the 'victim' ceases to be a 'victim'. That is all I mean. And all I said about child victims is that the parent is responsible for the child and if the parent has not raised their child well enough to come to them if they have been abused then the parents have responsibility for the abuse because the cause is their poor parenting. You see so many of these people that have children that claim to have been raped by a Catholic Priest and a lot of the time the child actually did tell the parent about the alleged abuse however the parent decided to talk to the church about it rather than to report the abuse to the police - and because of this nothing was done about it because if there is no proof and it is just a childs word against a Priest then of course the Roman Catholic Church will have to give the Catholic Priest the benefit of the doubt.

The Roman Catholic Church is attacked by many for the way they have handled abuse accusations in the past but the fact is that unless the police got involved in an abuse allegation and found proof that abuse did take place then the Catholic Church has done nothing wrong by standing by their Catholic Priests. And there is nothing sinister about the church moving a Priest to another church after an abuse allegation - this is the Catholic Church showing grace and and consideration for the family that had the misunderstanding. The fact is that the majority of these Catholic abuse claims were never taken to the police by the parents of the children claiming to be abused - they went to the Church instead and no proof of abuse was found - and the Church stood by their man as they should because a lot of the time adults misunderstand children and think that they are claiming to be abused when they actually have not been, and a lot of the time children will confuse themselves due to adults asking them leading questions when they suspect that the child has been abused. Of course the Catholic Church gave their Priests the benefit of the doubt when the parents were not even certain enough to take the abuse claims to the police.

The confusion over institutional responses to allegations of abuse is the subject of an ongoing Royal Commission here in Australia and the fact is that 20 or 30 years ago when a lot of this abuse is alleged to have occurred there were no strict guidelines for institutions to follow when abuse claims were made against them and that is part of the reason why we are having the Royal Commission. Like Cardinal George Pell says - you have got to give victims of abuse allegations a fair go. Innocent until proven guilty is what the Americans say isnt it? I am not blaming any 'victims', I am just saying that abuse claims must be reported to police by adults that claim to have been abused - and by parents of children that have been abused. How is that blaming the 'victim'? I am a lost soul? My judgement is clouded? I dont understand what you mean. I didnt blame any 'victim'.

Truth is not an absolute defense to defamation. In theory maybe. In reality the man with the money calls the shots in the courts.

I work with sex crimes victims. They often do not dare go after the people who attacked them because of the deep pockets and lawyers the abusers can hire and the things they can threaten to shut the victims up.

Yah some brave people come out but I think you expecting Feldman who is broke to take on some of the big sob's in Hollywood by himself
    is unrealistic.

You are being harsh. I have represented in court sex crimes victims as their lawyer and assisting the crown (same as district attorney in the states)
prosecuting sex criminals and I have mediated and counselled sex crimes and victim scenarious.

People caught up in cycles of abuse can be raped over and over. We see it go on for years in families, in institutions, with prostitutes and their
pimps. People who are being abused often take a long time to break the cycle of they ever do.

Its a complex phenomena. If someone feels they have no power or they deserve what they are getting, which is what their minds are
turned into believing, they don't fight. When the concentration camps after WW2 were abandon by the Nazis, the people in the camps
didn't leave. Its he same kind of phenomena. People abused long enough lose any will to resist.

Its a complex psychological trauma reaction where you don't believe you have any choice.

    That's all I will say.

I do know a lot of Corey Feldman;s out there. They self medicated, tried to commit suicide, blame themselves for what happened to
them, hate themselves, feel dirty all the time no matter how many times they shower.

They have nightmares all the time and the depression when it hits combined with panic attacks, anxiety, drives them to drink,
do drugs, cut themselves, scratch themselves to the bone, pull out their hair.

I would not be too quick to judge why some do not report what has happened to them.

Also if you were being raped by your priest, your father, your brother, a trusted figure in the community, you think its easy
to tell anyone? You think people will believe you?

You know how many people tried and were called liars by their mothers in denial as to what their fathers were doing, etc.?

I used to dig deep into the minds of these pedophiles and sex abusers. They identify victims by finding people who are vulnerable.

They are people with power and get access to and control over others.

They have money. They pay for top of the line crimibal defence lawyers and those lawyers will literally destroy in cross examination
the victims and intimidate them before they can get to court.

Its a dirty corrupt world man where people you would not believe are getting away with awful dark stuff.

If I told you the number of evil pigs that have walked free you would not believe me.

Its what turns cops to drunks and people like me to many a sleepless night.

Believe me I have seen the system fail. Then again if there is just 1 person we could pull out
it was all worth it, and that is what keeps me going, the social workers, nurses, teachers, cops,
    Judges, doctors, going.

As bad as I have seen it I have seen kids, women, young men break out because of all the people I told you.

All I ask is to anyone reading this, don't judge why victims don't ask for help. You are probably wrong about why
    they didn't ask for help.

If you want to blame someone, or be harsh, blame me and others in the system who maybe could have done more.

Don't blame the victims. If anything blame the damn abusers..

You will find this interesting. In Europe the no.1 city for making child porno tapes and child snuff tapes is still Prague.

You would also be write about LA having the largest concentration of porno studios but the porno industry is self regulated-they do have a code..

Don't confuse them with child porn done by pedophile rings. They police their people for sexual diseases and juveniles under age. They ca easily get 18 year olds that look 12.

In terms of child molestation if you are talking about child porn being produced its any big city, Praque, Paris, London, Moscow. If you are talking about child molestation it happens everywhere and in every culture. There are specific travel industries that send you to the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam. Thailand to get children.

A snuff or child porn movie today though can be done anywere and be distributed on line within minutes. Kids are kidnapped, filmed then killed.

Internet has made pedophile networking easy.

Police are developing better ways track sex crimes across borders and on the internet, but its still
flike looking for a needle in a hay stack after a child is abducted andthe bad guys bounce their signals making it
impossible sometimes to track them on the internet.

In Toronto we have Project P and the police have done a great job tracking down sex crimes via the
internet but its a battle police are overwhelmed with.

We live in a dark world. It sometimes pays not to know just how dark it is and to hold your kids at night and be thankful
    they are safe.
