I guess I’m still trying to figure out your point. You’re saying that Trump caught the coronavirus because he wasn’t wearing a mask? You think that masks actually protect you from COVID-19?

    Well...

People that believe in the Tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny never have a point. :)

Coronavirus will be here as long as CNN et el pushes its narrative to the general public.
There is absolutely no evidence that this year is worse then e.g. year of 2018.

    In 2018
    Number of deaths: 2,813,503 ( (for 9 months 2813503 / 12) * 9 ~ 2,110,128
    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db355.htm#:~:text=In 2018, a total of,at birth increased 0.1 year.

    in 2020
Total Death from all causes. 2,105,460 ( for 9 months)
    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm

There is the matter of the 200,000 dead.

    That's called evidence.

You might want to let statisticians handle this one..

But that is a fudged number, it is number of death associated with COVID-19, not an actual cause of death.
Fudged number cannot serve as an evidence.

And there is a very simple reason why those totals are very nearly the same, but leftists can’t wrap their poor little brains around such a basic concept.

Yep, and actually in 2018 population of US was about 1.5 millions less.

Like the average of polls, I much prefer CDC's method of counting excess deaths.

    It’s 200,000 who died from
COVID-related cases vs. 200,000 who would have died from something else if there was no COVID-19 and they weren’t locked down and staying home for months. The CDC’s numbers actually supports that.

If I thought I would die from a cold, I would be a lot more careful.
Trump knew what he needed to do to stay safe. He ignored it. That's stupid.

Maybe you should read the CDC site.

I do not know how CDC came up with those numbers, but I quoted their statistics.
2020 is not really worse then 2018.
Sure, they are about 3 months behind, but still nothing extraordinary happen.
Definitely destruction of all aspects of normal life has not been justified.

So maybe your estimate made by multiplying by 9 months should be 5 or 6 months?
No thanks. I'll use the numbers they used for exactly the purpose of demonstrating the problem.

I think they erroneously projected number of deaths to 2020 based on the data from 2019.

In 2019 probably less people have died then in previous years

    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/mortality-dashboard.htm#
The age-adjusted death rate for all causes was 666.3 in 2019 Q3, which is lower than the age-adjusted death rate of 675.2 in 2018 Q3.

    Total death in previous years.
    2017 - 2,813,503
    2016 - 2,744,248
    2015 - 2,712,630

The CDC doesn’t account for deaths that would have happened had COVID-19 never existed. The excess deaths from COVID-19 would be about the same as the number of other deaths without COVID-19, because people who were under COVID-19 lockdown and stayed home would have died of something else (car accidents, homicide, heart attacks, etc.) When you compare COVID-19 related deaths from this year to non-COVID deaths from previous years, according to the CDC the totals are about the same.

Of course they do. It's excess deaths.

I think they just misreported data from 2019
You can clearly see NO spikes in January 2019 as well as NO spike in January 2020, and then whole 2019 year blue bars were much lower then expected threshold.
If we combine averages of 2019 and 2020 we will get almost exactly death rate that we had in 2018.
It essentially means that whole COVID-19 story is just a statistical glitch bloated beyond reasonable by MSM.

You're barking up the wrong tree here masks do protect us all from the virus and that is a fact What 2nd graders do you know, know the facts of your theory? and what's your point?

When you say "Masks protect you from the coronavirus" you are right. That is true. simple as that.

How is it “excess” when it is roughly the same amount as the previous year?

Give or take. That suggests that you are making a mountain out of a molehill.
