    There is some rich irony here-New York is a very anti-gun state and yet Remington Arms may be about to contract ventilators, and other medical equipment.

    Remington has had a difficult few years but a contract may help sustain the company that manufactures both military and civilian weapons.

    Will New York accept the help?

    I think New York will accept any help they can get, and will in turn pass that help along to other cities or regions once New York gets past the peak of this thing. Cuomo has said as much.

    This virus is not a partisan issue for most of us.
