Could a real estate boom plus better Fed policy pay off USA national debt?

Perhaps I thought it was self-evident that I meant - for the above expansion of learning - and if it wasn't know that I meant the government should assume the cost. How does a government do that when its National Debt is skyrocketing? (As shown above!)

Yes, somethins gotta give. And that something is the DoD. (Like it or not, the people who work there!) Any time there is a war, America stiffens and increases expenditure on Defense. THERE AINT NO DAMN WAR GOING ON PRESENTLY! (Yes, there are war-zones that contain anti-American militants and they are mostly in the middle-east.)

Well, in fact, there is one! But it's at home!

The Electoral Colleges cheated us out of Hillary's presidency when she had promised the young-and-poor the chance-of-a-lifetime to boost themselves out of Abject Poverty and into the middle-class by obtaining nearly free-gratis-and-for-nothing a Post-graduate Diploma! How was she going to do that?

There's only One Way to accomplish that objective, which is principally financial in nature.
It's to cut back on the DoD - that has been binging on the National Debt for more than two decades*!

Pray tell, who has been threatening the US with an invasion? Nobody. (Yes, of course, we need to remain vigilant as regards Lucky-Strikes that happened on 9/11.)

You could well be onto an important idea with this. I have to admit that at least one near death experiencer came back from their brush with death with the impression that military spending did need to be greatly reduced.

    A CONSUMMATE FOOL

There is no possible means for a real-estate revalution to displace the present National Debt. Said debt is owed by both the US government and private-parties to various debt-holder entities.

From here: National debt of the United States - Wikipedia - excerpt:
As the above statement indicates, the far larger portion of the American debt is owed by the general public. Furthermore, what is the nature of said debt? From here:
Why Should We Worry About the National Debt?
Further quote from the above site:

There are grave consequences to ignoring the massive increase trending for the National Debt. Anyone ignoring those dire consequences is a consummate fool - and yet Donald Dork has yet again this year increased the National Debt by enlarging significantly DoD-expenditure.

PS: When the economic contraction-crunch comes, don't say you were never warned!

And why did he do that without the slightest reason whatsoever? Ask yourself!

Because those people who run the companies that supply the DoD with products/services are his Financial Donors for reelection!

And when he is long-gone one day, who will STILL be paying off his Budget Extravagance? You, me and every other American!

Whilst he's bathing in the sunshine at Mar-a-Largo ...

There is also the issue of China seeming to be making a gambit to devalue the USA petro-dollar and knock the USA out of her position of number one military super power.

A year ago we could never have guessed that a virus was coming that would cause so many city dwellers to be willing to move to rural American and Canada!

I don't know about the "getting away from it all". Because if we humans throughout civilization have always "crowded together", it was out of fear and the necessity for defense. And also interaction with our fellow mankind. Alone one could neither defend him/herself nor the children. So, we humans "flocked together", just like all the other animals on earth do.

That worked for a while, because whoever "Royal entity" mastered and paid for the Army, mastered the people because the Army and the Police were one and the same. Till lately in the history of humankind, that is.

What is changing fundamentally are two key elements of our existence:
    1) If rural communities are still dependent upon agriculture as a staple-revenue, then - and as you say - some others who do not farm will seek rural communities for as long as they can connect to the Internet. Because that is where their income is.

And yet, because income is good but not enough for us, we humans need interaction with other humans. How we will do that on permanent basis in the countryside or rural communities remains to be seen. Some will have no problems, others will miss the "hum" of a large city. The rural-community will nonetheless thrive.

    2) In order to engage in mini-wars (type Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.) we think are necessary, we need armies. But do we really-need such engagement? What we "need" economically is to assure that there is no disruption of Free Trade. For that we need not only an Military Service but also an agreement as to how it is employed to assure Free Trade.

Should a country (like Iraq) feel it is not getting its just return on its oil-deposits, it could become disruptive. But, with time, fossil-fuel products are (finally) becoming supplanted by the sun for energy-purposes.

The above examples of how the Internet and Rural Community Living on the one-hand and the necessity to mass in large cities on the earth are becoming a major subject of contention for mankind. Do we really need behemoths like New York City? (New Yorkers most certainly thinks so!)

And the data is on their side! From here:
All said and one, I prefer to take the risk in the countryside - but that is a highly personal decision for anyone to make ...

*From 2013 research at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. As noted here.

    COMMUNISM & THE WALKING DEAD

China just wants to put down a fomenting uprising in Hong Kong. Because it is afraid that if it succeeds in Hong Kong, which is allowed to elect its representatives to political office, then Communism will be a walking-dead on the mainland. (And they are right about that!)

Which it deserves, of course. But that is going to take a lot more than just rioting in Hong Kong to bring about a political revolution in China.

The Chinese are indoctrinated from Day 1 that Communism is the greatest political-system on earth - and the Chinese economy is the Primary Demonstration of that fact's truth. Of course, China is a major world exporter and its exports are imports go to countries very largely of the opposite political structure. (Ie, capitalist-economies.)

So, it is not to "Communism" that we should credit China's exponential-expansion since the 1990s. It has companies that now compete and are no longer wholly owned and operated by the Chinese Government. These companies are indeed private, but they are not "free" from governmental oversight. (And Huawei is a prime example of that fact.)

Change will come in time - the only question is how bloody or not the revolution will get in China.
I, for one, would not care to be there to witness the event ...

But here we are now in a situation where the fear of rioting......
and the rioters....... may be greater than the fear of bears or wolves??????

There is an interesting urban legend here in Atlantic Canada about two Ford from the 1970's. One Ltd., ended up being
purchased by a man from Cherry Hill between Bridgewater, N. S., and Liverpool, N. S. He drove and drove but the gas
gauge did not go down hardly at all...... so he assumed that the gas gauge was broken.............
He went back to the dealership and complained and his Ltd. was taken from him and he was given another one that got terrible mileage. A second Ford (it may have also been an Ltd., but I am not sure)..... went to Moncton, N. B. and the owner figured out what he had and held up until Ford gave him over five million dollars to buy back his Ford from the new owner.

My guess is that this was done on purpose here and there so that true "urban legends" would be out there floating around......

if a USA President would do a Presidential decree that would void patent laws on the grounds of national security......
high mileage carborateurs on F-150's would also help to make this trend possible:

An unconditional but taxable Basic Minimum Income of some variation would also tend to
assist that trend to occur. If this David Wilkerson guy can be given such an impressive
insight back in 1973.... then I am kind of hoping that the Mark Taylor guy was
tapping into a similar source of information??????

    And speaking of Netanyahu:

Can Israel pull the entire world economy out of a possible Bear Market, another 1929?

I believe that the world economic situation is so serious that pretty drastic measures should be considered thus:

Riots come and go - as soon as people see the consequences on TV.

They all don't, however, so some end up on a stretcher in an ambulance - which they should have thought of beforehand.

There are other means available in any "democracy". The American populace are generally ignorant of them because they had no proper Civics Education. Maybe they need an alternative - one showing how people can participate actively in the politics (but from the sidelines) rather than passively. (Complaining from the sidelines of the political game being played gains one nothing.)

But, if involved and sufficiently numerous, they'd probably be successful in generating a political-action to evolve minimum-wages according to the extant reality of cost-of-living. We cannot today expect the two-party system to do so. It's been in place too long. We must nonetheless change "The System" to address the larger problem of Income Disparity that plagues America. (The US is the worst of any developed nation on earth. See chart here.)

I doubt nonetheless that the common will exists today to do so ...

    OUR USELESS "NATIONAL WAGE"

Yes, the US needs the same. At present it is set nationally at $7.25 but there are states who have raised the MW. Anyway, what is most interesting is MIT's Decent Living Wage calculation that is revised at the beginning of each (based upon actual cost-information of the previous year.)

It makes for a good read, and it is here: MIT Living Wage Calculator

For instance - Massachusetts (two adults, one working, two children):
    *Living wage - $30.35
    *Poverty wage - $12.38
    *Minimum Wage - $12.00

For another instance - Alabama (same as above)
    *Living wage - $24.57
    *Poverty wage - $12.38
    *Minimum wage - $7.25

I have chosen opposite ends of the wage spectrum for a reason - that of showing the difference. Is that difference unfair? Nope, it is what exists. Should there be a national law for that stipulates a higher "Poverty wage"? Yes, very much so!

Will Alabama go bankrupt if the MW is raised to Living Wage $25/hour. Not likely.

My Point: It is perfectly useless to a have a National Minimum Wage. That calculation must be made on a state-by-state basis depending upon actual local costs-of-living. Thus it must nonetheless be done by law on a periodic basis in all states ...

I am working on an idea for up here in Canada that I believe can be adapted in the USA very easily, (or England, Scotland, Australia, Israel, France, New Zealand....... etc., etc).

Would a Basic Minimum Income dramatically reduce abortions?

The version of this that I put in front of Australians seems to have gotten some interesting attention and feedback on several MMT discussion forums.

Thank you immensely for these statistics. I really like the idea of a rather paltry sum such as five hundred dollars Canadian monthly ........
in the form of an unconditional income supplement that is taxable for many, many, many reasons.......

One of them is so that victims in some sort of crime can sue the offender for damages......
and end up with a significant percentage of their Unconditional Income Supplement each month.....
which... has the potential to significantly reduce crime over the long term!

Another reason is because an Unconditional but taxable minimum income can be used to free people from a Social Safety Net that tends to turn people into dependants on that welfare system.

Very, very, very few Canadians are so messed up that they would want to live on a paltry five hundred dollars per months and not go out and get a job and be productive!

I'm sixty one and although I probably could get a job as a carpenters assistant if I wanted to...... but there are other opportunities available for somebody whose command of the English language is in the top twenty percent of the population. (Actually..... I scored ninety ninth percentile on vocabulary tests decades ago).

I made a couple of really dumb statements in this video that actually.... have potential if somebody would be willing to put in the effort to correct me in those errors that seem obvious to me ten years after I did this:

The key to a Basic Minimum Income being used to pay off the national debts of the USA and Canada is for Canadians to be aware of how the Bank of Canada was used from 1938 to 1974 and for Americans to be more aware of what happened during the time of President Lincoln's Greenback Monetary Policy Experiment.

Thirty seven million Canadians really do own the Canadian Dollar and three hundred million Americans do own the United States dollar but......
politicians in Ottawa and Washington get coopted over to being against the average Canadian and American.

In my opinion Biden and Trudeau's handlers who are passing them a script to read are setting up
hyper inflation so that they can prepare Canadians and Americans to be willing to accept tight monetary policy again.

This is how they work their scheme over decades and even centuries.

I am of the belief that an economic boom over the next decade will finance the preaching of the Kingdom of God...to all the world.... plus I believe that there is vastly more hidden meaning in the Cyrus prophecies of Isaiah chapters forty two to forty six than I could have began to have imagined back in the 1980's when I felt that I had a pretty good understanding of the Bible.... and how world events would eventually work out! I believe that we are about to see the fall of many giants...... scarier ones than was faced by Joshua and the twelve tribes as they went into The Holy Land.

Is Team Pierre (Polievre) entirely correct to block the P. M. Justin Trudeau budget??????

I personally do not claim to fully comprehend all of the possible implications of what is happening at this moment here in the Canadian economy but.....

I am certain that what is happening here is also relevant for all Americans.... all Israelis.... all Australians.... all New Zealanders and actually for all eight billion people living on this third rock at this critical time in history!!!!

I am of the belief that Conservatives, both in Canada and in the USA, and in all nations...... have been partly deceived by
ideas on economics that keep Conservatives in a relatively SMALL INTELLECTUAL BOX when it comes to economic theory and what I believe should be done as we come close to
another BEAR MARKET, (another 1929 event)!

Your theology and a Basic Minimum Income?

Actually.... the eighty percent of our population who do ninety eight percent of the most valuable work can easily provide a free lunch to the five or ten percent of the population who are disabled.

The mess that is happening right now in both Canada and the USA sure does seem to prove that the political left have some terrible ideas on economics.
