Could the Holy Spirit - Holy Ghost = God the Mother?

    Nope first the Bible makes it clear that God is neither male nor female but is spirit. And since father son and spirit are one substance then it follows that as only one, the son, ever had existence as anything other than spirit the the father and the spirit are neither male or female. please note that inspite of his role as Star Trek's science Officer Spock Nimoy is neither much of a scientist and is definitely no theologian.

    Sorry don't do feelings just facts. I have stated nothing in this thread that is original with me. Note with the exception of my comment on your apparent hero what I have stated would be the mainstream Christian response to his originally stated question in the thread title. No more and no less.

    And you think that isn't a main stream teaching why? It is pulled pretty much straight out of the Athanasian Creed.

    I'd love to see some "believer" explain why it is that when Christ is actually experienced, the Holy Spirit is nowhere to be found, and when God is Realized as some of the ancient monastic Christians found, Christ is nowhere to be found. They appear one-at-a-time according to all evidence. Why?
