Aliens have technology beyond our wildest imaginations. They have technologies that cloak their existence and the ability to move between dimensions, which humankind cannot yet do.

I agree with the theory that the most important "aliens" are extra - dimensional as opposed to being extra - terrestrial.

If it were an object, the level of acceleration shown is just beyond anything we've made. Ball lightning would fit except for how they don't show rapid acceleration - they tend to float around slowly. It also lasts longer than ball lightning has otherwise been described as lasting. Frankly alien does seem like the best fit. It's easier to say that because of other data and footage with similar movement patterns, such as observed in multiple ways in the Nimitz incident.
