A week after a National Labor Relations Board judge ruled that a Walmart manager in California could not legally threaten to "shoot the union," a Pennsylvania court handed down another decision against the mega-retailer. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled on Monday that Walmart must pony up $188 million to employees whom it failed to compensate properly during breaks and total hours worked. (from the article)

I guess Walmart feels they are above the law. ripping off their employees once again; they ought to be ashamed of themselves.

So because Walmart chooses to create positions for greeters, you believe it's ok for them to break the ****ing law?

Do you think that the local store manager decides the number and responsibilities of the staff of his store? Or does someone from corporate do that?

Have you ever done it before? And for at least 5 or 6 years full time?

Everyone has known about what Walmart does for a long time.

    I used to boycott them.

But where I live now they have the only game in town.

They are close to t he only thing in town where I live, but I'll travel a half hour to find a non-walmart store to shop if need be. Proud to say I've never been into a walmart and will do without if I have to rather then patronize them but that's just me since I feel so strongly about them.

I've worked my entire life in manufacturing and construction. 12 years on my feet.

Although technically I've never earned minimum wage, so no I haven't done it before.
