    "goes without saying"

But, despite increased alcohol sales at stores, the distributors and trucking firms that provide alcohol to hospitality locations, are hurting

And the actual hospitality businesses themselves. All damaged, some irreparably by the insanity of fear from WuFLu.

It just reveals underlying flaws. My wife and I, with our excellent relationship, got even closer and more loving during the lockdown, as we watched TV series together, enjoyed our backyard swimming pool together, provided support to each other during the uncertain times, cooked together at home instead of going to restaurants, etc. The bottom line is, if the relationship is good, then having more time to spend with each other rather than in various other social pursuits that involve more people, is appreciated and fulfilling. If the relationship is bad then people get into each other's nerves.

Despite us spending more time together I actually miss her even more. We work in the same hospital, in different sectors, and get very busy during the day. Mostly before the pandemic we didn't talk much during work hours, until we got back home. Now we experience the need to call each other more frequently, to vent about the pressures of dealing with Covid-19 patients, to discuss concerns about colleagues who caught the virus, etc.

Yes. My wife is an extraordinary human being and I love her dearly (strong, assertive but also compassionate, resilient, professionally highly competent and admired, and skillful in all walks of life; very intelligent, and to top it all, very pretty - the whole package; not to forget, an outstanding mother who shaped our two kids into becoming very successful and well-rounded people; I credit it to my wife's phenomenal parenting skills; she is such a positive force in our family!). I'm very lucky that she seems to love me back. I think she is a better person than I am and she makes a better person of me. I'm very privileged for having met her and for our mutual love (sometimes I think, how did I deserve her??? But fortunately she seems to disagree and she seems to love me a lot, too! :D).
