This is what anti-vaccination disinformation and the significant portion of misinformed Americans, largely divided along party lines, have done. All who embrace and spread vaccine misinformation are contributing to the deaths of their fellow Americans, and because there are so many who choose to be so profoundly stupid about it, the country has to continue with mask mandates and social distancing restrictions to try and protect these people from themselves and protect other people who may be vulnerable to infection in spite of vaccination from those people.

In all mask mandates, cases have risen, not fallen and that is mostly because too many people are out and science has proven that the kinds of masks most people wear are only about 10% effective. We don't have such a thing as N95 mask mandates, just mask mandates, where any old mask will do, even though it doesn't. Biden promised us he would deal with Covid but Covid is dealing with him, just as it did with Trump and the rest of the world.

The current surge and the number of kids that have been infected........could have been prevented...........or at least minimized if folks would have followed the recommended protocols. but they won't be told what to do..(an attitude they should have outgrown during their teens.)............. even if it affects the society they live in. There is no personal right issue when it comes to PUBLIC health and contagious conditions. Totally ignorant and irresponsible. So a lot of this is now self induced.
A vaccine was created in record time........ and yet like selfish kids ........many just refuse to take it.........and yet some would try drinking disinfectants because their ignorant cult leader suggested it (mind you.....HE didn't do it . or any of his crazy cures .......he got vaccinated.)
