COVID privilege? Younger Americans get vaccinated first, while leaders flout their own restrictions

As the COVID-19 pandemic trails into 2021, the unseemly specter of what might be termed "COVID privilege" is becoming increasingly apparent, as younger, less-vulnerable Americans are receiving the lion's share of coronavirus vaccines and elected officials and public employees continue to ignore the COVID-19 restrictions they themselves have set or demanded.

Nominal public servants, meanwhile — exemplified by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio dancing in an empty Times Square as well as a schoolteacher calling for continued school shutdowns while vacationing in the Caribbean — suggest that many community and civil leaders may consider COVID safety measures to be a hierarchical rather than a civilizational concern.

The bicoastal elites are lording it over heartland Americans yet again. They use lockdowns that they don’t follow. They try to compel obedience. Areas they don’t control are doing better economics wise and have lower covid counts. And the theft of the vaccine from our vulnerable seniors is a crime against humanity.

 

The way our liberal overlords are acting and they wonder why we openly rebel against them and flout their rules just as they themselves do. Their rules are more about class and privilege than health policy.

 

I've seen stories and videos of people angry to the point of near violence over people not wearing a mask. I would like to introduce those people to Pelosi, Waters, Whitmer, both Cuomos, Stephanopolis, Newsom, the mayors of Denver and Austin, along with a slew of other people.

 

Wait 'til Nancy goes into her local WalMart and they tell her she needs to wear a mask. Talk about all hell breaking loose!

 

I don't know who these younger, less vulnerable people are you think are getting the "lion's share" of the vaccine unless you are some retiree as there hasn't been enough in my state to make a dent in just the more vulnerable healthcare and EMT fields as of yet.

 

She wouldn’t be caught dead walking into a place like that where all the little people she wants to rule over go. The ice cream princess would not lower herself to be around her subjects. I don’t think there’s even one Walmart store in her district though.

 

Its not a problem. Let us get our fake vaccinations for the fake pandemic. The whole thing was just about scaring Trump voters from showing up at rallies and at the booth and keeping Christians from attending church. Real Godfearing patriots don't want that shot anyway. The moment Biden gets in office, nobody will need a mask, the businesses will reopen and the cases will magically stop. We are just mindless sheeple. Don't let the Washington Post CNN media fool you.
