So there are a bunch of reasons, but one of the real killers is not having national health care...

Speaking of which, and let's take the Brits as an example, they are all over preventative care to keep their national health care costs down. American insurance doesn't care about preventative care because most people eventually change jobs, and get a different insurance company.

Ahh, I should tell you fighting obesity is part of preventative care...

 

Prior to making a Covid comparison, there are over 100 factors to take into consideration, both negative and positive. For said reason, I concluded long ago that Covid statistics among nations and states are rationally incomparable.

Are you trying to tell me that a disease that studies have clearly shown to be fatal to those with 2 or more comorbid isn't going to be more threatening regardless of treatment to a population that 50 percent has 1 comorbid by default?

Historically speaking when it comes to pandemics nothing anybody does really matters. Thinking you can control it for some nature is the ultimate huberous. And some stupid little plan that you pretend like you read that you didn't and I already know you didn't don't act like you did wouldn't do anything.

Historically speaking these things last for about 4 years. People are going to die just like every other day of human existence and people are going to survive the ones that survive will grow on to breed and pass their genetic material onto the next generation sunrise sunset. No plan no 69 page document that you didn't read this is going to change that

 

Back in October 2019, thus, several months before the Pandemic, Hopkins released a global pandemic preparedness study.

In said study, U.S. had the highest score, and ranked number ONE in many categories, such as; Prevention and Early detection.

Early in the Pandemic, the UNWISE Trump proudly displayed said study.......at his White House Breifings, and at a few political rallies.

However, Trump eventually admitted that the U.S. wasn’t prepared to handle a virus “like Covid19”.

 

Obama had a pandemic team.

Before Trump, every president from Carter on improved something about this, even Bush 2. Trump said things like "Gone by Spring"..

For your info, before end of December 2020, the Canadian Province “British Columbia” had already developed and mass distributed an effective Covid testing kit.

By mid March, this province of 5 million people Covid tested more citizens than the entire United States.

I don’t think Obama’s Pandemic Team would have prevented our CDC’s screwups.
