You seem to be hung up on the 'you didn't read it' aspect of my posting of the plan. I was asked where the plan was and I posted it. I didn't say I read it - although I did go through some sections. But I really don't know why you needed to comment 4 times in this post alone that you were sure I didn't read it. Is that part of a point you're trying to make?

As for the notion of nothing anyone will do will make a difference and that it cannot be controlled - I have to disagree. I don't think it can be controlled completely, because the citizens of countries cannot be controlled completely. But offering guidance on how to best protect yourself and what to do/where to go in the event you are feeling ill is exactly what a federal government should do. If they throw their hands up in the air and act like there is nothing to be done, widespread panic would occur. Similarly, downplaying it is dangerous - people will not take simple precautions. And we know how that ended up.

I get it - you don't think that government should have any plan in place in the eventualities of disasters. You've made that abundantly clear. We just disagree on that point. And no amount of you trying to belittle me will change that.

You belittled yourself by arguing in bad faith. I just pointed it out maybe if you feel this way you should approach subjects with a little more maturity but maybe it's important for you to always feel like you're right.

If that's the case you have a nice life.

Ask Trump.......At several White House briefings, and political rallies, he’s the one who proudly displayed the 2019 Hopkin’s Global Pandemic Preparedness study, and said study concluded that the U.S. was the most prepared nation to handle a pandemic.

How, just give him a call?

    Stupid statement.
How do we know it wasn't?

Because the Hopkin’s Global Pandemic Preparedness Study omitted several important categories, such as; Leadership, and Public response/behaviour.

Thus, on paper, and according to Hopkins, we were the most prepared nation to handle a pandemic, however, realistically, we were certainly not.

    Agree or disagree?

If Trump had had a pandemic team, hundreds of thousands wouldn't have died.

If a bullfrog had wings he wouldn't bump his ass. Trump had the same top advisor Obama had, Fauchi. Biden has people today and people are still dying around the world and Biden had the vaccine that Trump left him with that was supposed to save mankind. It's a friggin virus and they are badass and don't care who is President. Nobody was going to save everyone that caught this mess but something could have been done to prevent wrecking the American economy. Biden owns that.

I know that hand waving off a 40 percent differential on a comorbid between two population you are trying to compare so you can put blame on Trump is kind of pathetic. The United States was going to get hit hard by this because it's inherently fat. That and it has a corrupt medical system which is going to slightly inflate the numbers so they can make bank gives me enough of a reason as to why I'm seeing the results I'm seeing.

    Please explain the following contradictory statements;

    February 25, 2020.......

CDC Nancy Messonnier; “Ultimately, we will see community spread in this country.....it’s not a question of if but rather a question of when and how many people in this country will have severe illness”

    RESULTS; Stock tumbled

    Next day, February 26, 2020

President Trump; “15 cases in the nation will quickly be down to close to zero”. At same briefing, Trump announced he was putting the Vice President in charge of government response.

you can't have leadership in this political climate. You can have a leader for about half the people and the other half well think they are Lucifer incarnate.
Up until idiots started panicking we were doing just fine.
Up to a point disagree. When people started doing lock downs absolutely crushing the economy that's when people started acting stupid. I'm thinking that was more about politics than the virus.

    When what post?
Once would be nice. No need to get butt hurt about it just refer to whatever post you said it in.

Why on Earth do you think that is contradictory?

He fired and expert, disbanded the team, put Pence in charge of making things look ok, and said: “15 cases in the nation will quickly be down to close to zero”

You made my case better than I did.
