I was trying to see the schedule today but I cannot get the official CPAC website to load ... have I been cancelled? ...

I found the info on another website and sure enough they are encouraging people to watch their official stream rather than use the networks ... gotta give the plebs the ability to use the "Donate Now" button ...

Let me get this straight. The people who:

    Want to control the media
Want to indoctrinate our kids in school
Want to condemn, violently if need by, opposing thoughts and idea
Want to rally around a common enemy (Trump and his supporters)
Want to control our health care
Want to ban books, music, movies and anything else that goes against their will
    Love Muslims and hate Jews

These people are calling other people Nazis? Really?

All of those things describe Republicans, and the last line about Muslims and Jews is a false dichotomy that Republicans love. Democrats live Jews and Muslims. Strange that you clearly have a problem with one of those.

Isn't this how conspiracy theories get started?

It isn’t a conspiracy really, the symbol is there. The discussion is whether is was done accidentally or as a nod to the more extreme side of the political right.

No clams have been made. Only observation

None of those things describe republicans, they describe libs to a T. And Hitler loved Muslims and hated Jews, same with liberals.

Any white supremacist, neo nazi, white nationalist would understand those symbols. They use them on their gear, shirts, signs and flags carried into marches and protests ... sometimes blatantly large but often small and subtle.

Perhaps it's because liberals pay more attention to history, so we notice when it starts to repeat itself.

Those absolutely do not describe republicans.

You couldn't be more out of touch with reality. It's not surprising you didn't even attempt to quantify your position....just defend the left at all costs no matter how ridiculous.

I think what they really hoped for was naive people would take one of a DOZEN description since 300 AD and once again rebrand it in to something is was not/never meant :)

Of course this is the way of the propagandist, right ;)

    He did?

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relations_between_Nazi_Germany_and_the_Arab_world

"The relationship between Nazi Germany (1933–1945) and the leadership of the Arab world encompassed contempt, propaganda, collaboration, and in some instances emulation. Cooperative political and military relationships were founded on shared hostilities toward common enemies, such as the United Kingdom and the French Third Republic, along with communism, and Zionism."

Adolf used Muslims. He did not love them.

If it is deliberate symbolism, it's lost on anyone who isn't extremely far right. I've never seen some of those symbols, including the one that matches the stage, and I'm someone who pays more attention than most. What would be the purpose, other than to titillate the few "in the know"?

Well, I've been watching CPAC. The audience looks like normal conservative Americans of all ages, sexes and pigments.

I guess if Matt Schlapp was secretly planning the stage design as a dog whistle invitation to the Swastika-emblazoned, touch-brandishing, cross burning racists, then his mission failed dismally.

Y'all are too much. I don't remember last time I had such a good laugh as this "CPAC stage is a Nazi thing," conspiracy y'all are floating around the Interwebs. :roflol:

It is a basic sign that I first learned in a scuba class to ask and respond to the question of "are you OK?" Next, liberals will determine that someone scratching their arse is a racist sign.

    That would be the purpose.
Similar to the “stand back and stand by” — most people will glance right over it but it rallies some very disturbed individuals.

Pay attention to history? You guys are erasing it and rewriting it to fit your narrative. And if you really paid attention to history you'd notice socialism doesn't work.

    Sort of like Democrats.

In America, Muslims are "protected" from "conservative white Christian xenophobic racists," so sayeth the left-wing leaders and activists.

How many Muslim people of color do you suppose Biden will approve for death strikes by drone over the next few years though?

I anticipate it will be more than Obama but less than trump in his first 200 days. What do you think?
