Science should be taught in our schools not nonsense for religion reasons or for any other reason.

But just because you personally have not devoted enough time
in researching this possibility to understand it...... doesn't
    necessarily mean it is nonsense.

We should not have socialized schools and this issue would go away. Imagine if we had socialized shoe factories. Then we'd be arguing over whether we should produce brown or black shoes. Useless arguing when each shoe purchaser should be able to make her own decision.

Right..... so do you mean that if students......
and parents who are financing the education for those students.....
want them exposed to some variation on Creationism and / or
    Theistic Evolutionary Theory......
then...... both the students and their financiers should be free to
be able to get that for the students?

Science.... is a word that is subject to definition.... and some
"scientists" seem to be quite willing to destroy evidence that
    they find to be offensive.

Did museums ever destroy skeletons of giants?

Where science leaves off......faith begins. Science does not have all the answers nor will it ever though many "pretend" it does.

I agree totally. Schools should be in the business of teaching the basics--math, writing, English, history, geology, geography, chemistry, programming, medical science, economics, or some kind of trades for those who aren't higher education material. 'Speciality' subjects like sociology should be electives in college, but should not be forced on our children. Schools should not be places where some nut job gets to indoctrinate them with an unprovable faith-based theories. There are schools, parents and places of worship where they can contemplate these theories.

I am not paying land taxes for some zealot to ram their version of Christianity down children's throat; and at the same time, pseudo-evolutionary-scientists and atheists should be banned from cramming their opinions down children's throat. School should prepare students for the working world by giving them provable information and a chance to hone their critical thinking skills, or a place to teach trades and nothing else.

I do believe in creation but I'm sure my version of God is different from most people's; and I like my version. So you keep your preaching, and unprovable science to yourself.
By the way: anyone reading the bible, preaching to the world, needs to do side-by-side readings of the etymology of words like "enemies". "Enemies" is a Latin word that means "bad friend". "Love your enemies" means love your wayward friends. It doesn't mean love your adversaries. It is self-professed Christians like Dennis Tate (sorry Dennis but it is true) who would open the doors to every one of America's adversaries because he thinks that is what we are commanded to do. It is this kind of simplistic thinking that I don't want preached to my children and grand children, anymore than I want some hot shot MSM scientist telling them God doesn't exist, or that God is impotent, or that multiculturalism enlightens us somehow.

Amazing some of the nonsense some people will believe.

The science and the technology that the science had produce had allow the internet to exist and then some of us will then misused that gift of human ingenious to try to spread nonsense.

In any case, in government schools facts should be taught but you and like minded individuals are free to teach your children any myth you might care to in your homes or your churches but not in the public schools.

How is this a yes or no question when no is not an answer choice?

His point is that all of the answer choices that you presented were yes. Where is the no?

    This answer = No.....
"In universities yes... .but not in schools."

Because variations on Creationism and / or a more Theistic version of Evolutionary Theory is already taught
in a high percentage of USA and Canadian universities.

I suppose though that P. M. Trudeau will purge that out of Canada......
if he isn't defeated in the 2019 federal election.

Could P. M. Justin Trudeau manage to destroy the USA Democratic Party for 2018?

I personally have serious doubts about the level of
intelligence of the responders to this poll who ansered:
"Carbon based life less than 5 billion years ago, on earth."

But I do admit that I am biased....

Your polls and the options given are the most intellectually dishonest I’ve continually seen here, and that’s impressive.
Creationism should be taught once it is proven as fact, not before
