Actually, being Germans, they would shout something like "Christus ist König", this just for accuracy. We cannot exclude that Christian of far right extremists could decide to make some "counteractions" like this. The risk exists and in France in these days we have seen some minor attacks against places where Muslims gather [included a kebab restaurant].
Yes the best anyone can do in Germany, Italy or France in a Islamic terror-hostage situation is run or pray. If the Jihadists were to try that here in my area, there are enough concealed carry people around to fight back even before the police arrive.

A part this, I was making reference to the very large majority of the owners of handguns ... they are not trained to face real combat situation [I don't make reference on the net to eventual military past of mine, if there was any]. In any case, in Italy you can find all the weapons you want. To think to a possible real situation: imagine if a group of terrorists try and attack a restaurant in the port zone of Palermo in Sicily. Probably the "families" would think to the attack of competitors and our "Jihadists" would have to face some "fire groups" ...
