Utopia suggests it happens by magic. It doesn't. It's incredibly hard work, and it never lets up. You're either up for that work, or you're not. Depends what you think of your kids, I guess. I happen to think mine are the greatest gifts I have ever received. I'm barely worthy of them, and this is my way of trying to be so. Give them the tools for a good life, and step back.

I'm not judging or prejudging anyone. It's simply a clinically observed fact.

I love when people say things like, “it is a clinically observed fact” when it usually isn’t

And you received an M.d. from where ?
Because the stuff you spout is garbage.

I suppose you still believe Homosexuals to be mentally ill and teach this as "clinical psychology" ??

Anytime you single out another for abuse, that is wrong and is unacceptable.

If I am a young lad sitting at lunch, not bothering anyone, why must a Bully needs approach me and say, Your Gay ! Your a Fa'g ! and punch me, how is that in anyway acceptable ?

    Please tell me.

"Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt me" is nonsense. Verbal abuse hurts way deeper and longer, sometimes a lifetime, than physical abuse.

Like that!!! So true. I heard somebody say "It doesn't matter what they call you. It only matters what you answer to."

Very convenient ... to call reasonable parenting "utopia", and therefore out of reach. Any idiot can parent thusly. It's a decision we all make, before or very early in our first child's life. Beyond that it's just a commitment, like anything else.
