    The US House clearly has the duty of overseeing intelligence including our security clearance system.

    That system has been declared to be broken, even by top members of this administration.

    Today, the WH refused to cooperate with the oversight requests of the House on our totally broken security clearance system.

    Rep. Cummings states in response:
    This White House keeps taking steps toward dictatorship.

    We can NOT afford to sit here and allow that to happen.

    I'd go ahead and tell Nadler to open the impeachment hearings for failure to submit to constitutional oversight.... it's as good a reason as anything right now...

    Its GONNA happen.. might as well happen now

    What is he claiming is broken about it?

    Yep it is a plenary power.

    Obama was a Respected Statesman (and Former U.S. Senator) who was Twice Elected with a Majority of the Popular Vote.

    Trump is an Unprepared Amateur who was elected in a Fluke.

    Are you arguing that the decision to deny clearance to Donny and the subsequent decision to override the FBI on that clearance against the strong objections of multiple high officials can't be reviewed as a matter of national security?

    What could possibly be the grounds for THAT idea?

    Besides, Cipollone is really stroking hard to tread water. He says:
    WTF???

    Who the heck thinks the Intelligence Oversight Committee is supposed volunteer "accommodation" in order to get INFORMATION on an intelligence decision this serious and controversial?
