Blame Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Carter, Obama, and most members who have been elected to Congress who have created and allowed passage of programs which perpetually increase the Federal budget spending and debt accumulation!
put Reagan at the top of your list:
and include your pal Cheney who said, "Reagan proved deficits don't matter"
You seem preoccupied with him, so I left him for your list.
It doesn't matter until it does matter.
There are two modes of perception: what we can actually see, and logical deduction
Obviously we do not really see the obvious downside to all this debt right now, it's not really apparent.
Sometimes what you can't see is more dangerous than what you can.
Some basic logical deduction will tell us this debt can't have a beneficial impact, and may even be creating a fiscal and economic danger lurking in the future.
The question is only how far can you kick the can down the road. Once the country has to borrow money just to pay the interest on past debt, the end won't be far.
and you preoccupied with Dems
of course, those of us who live in the world of reality know where to put the blame and that is on your Republican heroes
so where are all the objection to Trump's ever increasing national debt?
Cos the Mexicans will pay for the wall! Evens out in their eyes?
What new spending program(s) created by Trump might you be referring to?
Trump's "triumphs" -
no infrastructure rebuilding
no tax returns released
no health coverage
higher debt, and defaulted on his
no golf pledge
And no answer to the question you were asked.
still waiting ....
Me too, for your answer to my question.
When someone goes to something like "percentage increase" instead of the actual numbers, its a sure sign they are trying to hide the truth.
Obama blew up the national debt,
Obama increased the total national debt $9.3 Trillion. Its right there in plain simple easy to read numbers.
The focus on obama is because the Trump haters and "progressives" keep lying about the debt under obama.
The US debt is huge, its going up under Trump, and Congress isn't doing anything at all about it. There is only one solution - cut spending on entitlement programs. Medicare, social security, Medicaid, are the big problems but the pols aren't going to touch them out of fear and greed.
What a load, do you have plenty of air freshener to live with that stink? Social Security, Medicare and SS disability is not an entitlement program it is a program people PAY FOR out of their wages for use at a later date in life.
Yet Oblama is NOT president Trump IS and the Congress is controlled by the GOP. Stop trying to blame Oblama and the Democrats for what Trump and the GOP is doing, which is no different than what the former govt. has done..
Trump ran a campaign on the promise of eliminating the debt...It's not happening, in fact they have increased spending and the debt with the tax cuts...
Because on is relevant and the other is not. You can’t compare dollar amounts across a 40 year time period. You have to compare percentage.
No question. Republican incompetence is expensive to clean up. But he is nowhere NEAR as bad as bush and Reagan were.
It wasn’t $9.3 trillion. And he doesn’t hold a candle to Reagan or bush when it comes to debt.
Social Security, by law, WILL be cut when when the trust is depleted and the incoming revenues are incapable of continuing the payments.
