Is this beautiful, or what? I think so :)

    ...

    https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/kyle-korver-utah-jazz-nba

"...one big thing that got brought up a lot in the meeting was how incidents like this — they weren’t only about the people directly involved. This wasn’t only about Russ and some heckler. It was about more than that.

It was about what it means just to exist right now — as a person of color in a mostly white space.

It was about racism in America.

Before the meeting ended, I joined the team’s demand for a swift response and a promise from the Jazz organization that it would address the concerns we had. I think my teammates and I all felt it was a step in the right direction.

But I don’t think anyone felt satisfied.

There’s an elephant in the room that I’ve been thinking about a lot over these last few weeks. It’s the fact that, demographically, if we’re being honest: I have more in common with the fans in the crowd at your average NBA game than I have with the players on the court.

And after the events in Salt Lake City last month, and as we’ve been discussing them since, I’ve really started to recognize the role those demographics play in my privilege. It’s like — I may be Thabo’s friend, or Ekpe’s teammate, or Russ’s colleague; I may work with those guys. And I absolutely 100% stand with them.

But I look like the other guy.

And whether I like it or not? I’m beginning to understand how that means something.

What I’m realizing is, no matter how passionately I commit to being an ally, and no matter how unwavering my support is for NBA and WNBA players of color….. I’m still in this conversation from the privileged perspective of opting in to it. Which of course means that on the flip side, I could just as easily opt out of it. Every day, I’m given that choice — I’m granted that privilege — based on the color of my skin..."

Korver was only on the Cavaliers because Lebron allowed it.

You trying to tell me Korver has more life privileges than Lebron?

This is something you should show proof of, when making such a claim.

No. Kyle Korver told you that he has more life privileges than Lebron.

Obviously your not a basketball fan.
Lebron has had huge input on roster building
    In Cleveland, Miami, & LA.

When Lebron found out Delonte West slept with his mom, he made sure he was removed from the team.
Show me where Korver mentions he has more privilege than Lebron James.

Korver was talking about Jamaal & Jerome types who don’t play in the NBA.

Lebron James has more privilege than 99% of the American population.

Korver’s priviledge is based on his NBA Career & money earned, not the color of his skin.

Yes sir, I agree. Just like Dirk did for Mavs. Yes, and Nash did for the Suns and Klay/Curry does for the Warriors. And Hayward turned down, for the Jazz. So thank you, for reminding us that Lebron got, lucky, and is allowed to exercise White guys' White privilege too.

Know feel free to finish showing readers more about how, clearly, you understand Korver's situation much better than he does :)

None of those guys have the front office influence that Lebron has.

When Lebron went back to Cleveland the first thing he did was have them Trade Wiggins for Lowe.

I have heard of players recruiting other players off the record, but Lebron’s front office influence is unprecedented.

Guys like Magic & Lebron have gotten coaches fired, but Lebron roster influence is unique.

No, Korver was talking about Black, especially darkskinned, players. Yes and since Lebron is in fact exactly one of those players. Lebron is in the subset Korver is referring to.

Now please, feel free to finish showing us readers how you know Korver much, much better than he knows himself when he gauges White Privilege he benefits from each day. White Privilege which Lebrons' entire career, verifies, has always been out of his reach.

If you think Korver has more priviledge than. Lebron, that is your porogative

If you can’t produce a link where Korver is specifically mentioning he has more priviledge than Lebron, we are done here.

    Korvers net worth $30 million
Lebron James net worth $450 million

Once again, you appear to be missing the reality here.

It is not about what I think. It is about how Korver thinks he has more privilege, than Lebron has, and there's nothing you can do to change that fact.

Maybe one day you will become wise like me and Korver, and accept it, that wealth does not prevent a Black citizen from experiencing horrid racism in America.

    Duh?!!

This article is exactly a link to Korver mentioning that he has more privilege than every [darkskin] Black player ---which then includes Lebron.

Wise like you a and Korver?
Thank you, I needed a good laugh.

This is my final word on this subject.
Korver is a white boy in a black league.
This is nothing more than him kissing arse.

Anyone who thinks Korver has more priviledges than Lebron is either also pandering to the blacks, or a complete fool.

Lebron has more priviledge than anyone in the NBA.

If there was a poll in the NBA who has more priviledge, Lebron would win in a landslide.

    End of story !
