Where there is a will, there is a way. Drug cartels already dig tunnels under the existing fences and come and go at their pleasure.

Tunnels are expensive and easily detected

I think they would much rather continue using the human mules they have now

Maybe if we can block entry on the surface then border patrols could be freed up to deal with tunnels.

    Why ?

Ronstar, I want to give you a true opportunity perhaps no other will offer you.

    Forget Schumer or Pelosi.

Tell us this much to see why we ought to accept your claims at face value.

Government experience? How much and doing what job?
Border management. What is it and when was it? For how long?
Professionals you consult before you land blows against Trump?
Why was Obama constructing a wall that you do not find useful?
Why do you believe Obama never hardened the POE?
Why wasn't Obama aware of where Drugs came in and what actions did he take that you believe worked? Trump has not managed to get to first base with Democrats so had he got to first base, I would press him as well. But he does not post.

A bollard barrier? It could be considered a 'fence' but the size would make it comparable to a wall.

Jake, you fancy yourself as a smart man. And you talk like you believe you are the expert here.

I am asking every Democrat to lay out his resume.
We have a very vital and extremely important matter to discuss.

What experience have you at border patrol?
What professionals do you consult with that cause you to hold your beliefs?
When they gopher into the USA, what system would you use to put an end to this?

To be fair to Democrats, I have no border resume. i can only try hard to ask important and relevant questions. But i refuse to let the blind hatred lead me to solutions. I have border crossing experience at Mexico plus Canada. So I have seen the facilities used by the Federals.

I am not interested in hate vs Trump. We have a serious problem. It impacts more than we old timers, we have great grandchildren this will impact on. My kids are retirement age but they have kids who are adults who have children. To stop drugs and illegal border crossings, we must take action. Amend to say some of my kids retired. But some are as young as 33 years old. I do have children who are professionals. I have been a professional at this same occupation since 1971. I have served on two boards of directors. My largest assignment was for a group of 130,000 professionals. i have attended meetings with politicians. I have been party to taking politicians out to dinner to solicit their thinking. I happen to be pretty damned open minded.

Without hating Trump what action seals this country tight as a drum and ends this damned debate?

Ron, I have managed some large operations. I am not kidding you. I ask you to explain your purpose and experience and you call me funny?

If that is your best to offer, you ruled out that we should listen to you. I hope you realize that.

Robert, your concerns are illegitimate because you do not see consensus.

When I recognize that you are trying to do that, we will talk seriously.

if Trump gave them DACA in return, Schummer did not offer it for nothing in return like now

do republicans think the American people are that stupid?

the craziest thing is, Trump could of got wall funding had he just gave dems DACA a year ago... he hates these dreamers more then he loves the idea of a wall

maybe he told Melania if she would sleep in same bed as him again, he would give her DACA and she refused and slaped his hand away, then next day was seen wearing a jacket that says, I don't care... do you.... who knows

Trump offered radical Democrats the sweetest deal imaginable last year on DACA and they refused it. Three words characterize Democrats today -- OBSTRUCTION, OBSTRUCTION, and... OBSTRUCTION.

So, when you mash all the bullshit out of it, what would it take to make these America-hating creeps happy...?

I support Dreamers/DACA, E-Verify and the wall, and ending birthright citizenship.
