Dammit, The Speaking Rules MUST be Changed....No Immunity for Slander

Adam POSchiff is on a whirlwind Hail Mary full of flat out lies intended on shitcanning our Constitution.

This ******* said that Trump tried to fire Mueller, was going to give Alaska to Russia to win the next election, and was busy building a new Trump Tower in Moscow....amongst others.

Of course all these are more of his lies....lies intended to usurp our Constitution.

No one man should be able to lie like a *********ker to try to run his own personal coup.

It's high time the laws are changed and all congress critters are no longer protected with immunity for saying any thing they damn well please.

This ******* should be led out of the building in cuffs and put away for a long time.

 

Let's not forget that:
1. Schiff Show claimed that he had evidence that President colluded with Russia. He has yet to produce one stick of evidence. If he did have such evidence during the Mueller Investigation he would be guilty of Obstruction of Justice for withholding exculpatory evidence.

2. He read a fake transcript of the Trump/Zelensky conversation into the Intelligence Committee's hearing.

3. He claimed during the Clinton Impeachment hearings that a biased Impeachment is not valid. Yet, you can not get more biased then the articles of Impeachment that he helped push through against President Trump.

4. He did not call any witnesses that had direct knowledge of the conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky. Then whined when the Senate refused to call them. He seems to have forgotten that the only witnesses during the Clinton Impeachment Trial were three people that had already testified before the Grand Jury and/or the Impeachment Hearing. During the Clinton trial he spoke out against calling witnesses. These three witness were only called because new information had come to light after they had testified previous. The witnesses that Schiff wanted to call had not previously testified. Therefore their testimony would have set a new fishing precedence for Impeachments.

With all the lies that Shifty Schiff has told, I would advise his wife to look for a good divorce lawyer the next time he claims that he is working late!!!!!

 

What nonsense! He said that if the Senate acquits Trump, following Deshowitz's "So what" rule, he could give Alaska to Russia to get himself elected. Because it wouldn't be illegal. The hypothetical might be hyperbolic, but it's true that the Senate is giving Trump green light to cheat in the next elections in ways that only the imagination could limit.

And of course Trump did try to fire Mueller. What rock have you been living under!

At this point all that the ongoing clown show that is Schiff and Nadler and Pelosi are doing is to continue ticking off real independents who do not appreciate a party playing games with the INTENT of the Constitution. They are ensuring that the increasingly radicalized Left lose control of the House at the end of 2020 . . . and so let the Dem Party's elected crazies continue to rant along those lines.

 

Call him to testify under oath in the Senate Judiciary Committee and he'll plead the fifth on every question, quiet as a sleeping snake. Otherwise, he can lie with impunity under the Speech or Debate Clause in Article I, Section 6 of the U.S. Constitution.

He sure takes full advantage of the legal freedom to just invent falsehoods left and right, does he not?

 

It looks to me like too many Republicans have decided not to run again and don't have replacements with strong name recognition. I hope you are correct, but what I see happening right now is Trump gets reelected, Dems keep the House and Republicans keep the Senate. So America gets "Impeachment: The Sequel" for Trump's 2nd term of office. Hopefully I'm incorrect.

 

If Trump wanted Mueller fired he could have done it with a phone call or a flick of the pen.

I am occasionally wrong. It's possible that the people will not end up punishing the Left for any of this -- aside from re-electing Trump -- but time will tell. We will know for sure in just a little over 300 days.

 

We'd hope that people voting Trump would vote straight Republican down ballot. Texas just removed the option for "straight-ballot" voting in 2020. I think that will make a number of marginally-informed voters show up to vote for president only and leave the rest of the ballot blank. Also consider that the presidency is by Electoral College and many states are "winner take all", but House Representatives are by district...so Reps can't win the whole state by winning most of the state.

 

I doubt the Founders intended for the Speech and Debate Clause to be used as a tool to aid and abet an attempted coup.

Matter of fact, I'd be willing to bet the Founders would find what POSchiff has been doing as Treasonous.

I sympathize, but its very difficult to tell the difference between lying and being incorrect. Schiff is obviously a liar, but I think having our representatives being afraid of speaking their mind in case they happen to be misinformed would be worse in the long run.

The answer, as always, lays in refusing to take them at their word and checking it out for ourselves instead, since no laws or regulations are going to make them honest, intelligent people. They are all at the end of the day power seeking egomanical parasites not be trusted any farther than their next re-election campaign.
