I was watching C-Span some years ago who were interviewing these two old geezers who invented the internet while working for DARPA during the 1970's.

Both said in hindsight, that the internet should have remained classified and only the military should have had access to the internet since that was why the internet was developed for, for the U.S. Air Force to be used during a nuclear exchange with the Soviets.

The internet has dumbed down society.
Society today is misinformed and actually have become low information because of the internet.

Without the internet there would have been no "Russia Russia Russia" and pizzagate.

Without the internet, millennials would know how to read a road map today and wouldn't have horns growing out of the back of their heads.
