http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2013/sep/01/sir-david-frost For half a century, Sir David Frost, who has died aged 74, was hardly ever off our television screens, from 1960s satire on the BBC to encounters with the great and good on al-Jazeera. In the process, he became the world's most celebrated television interviewer. At the outset, the very success of this man in a stupendous hurry proved somewhat alarming to some as the author and translator Kitty Muggeridge said of him in 1967: "He has risen without a trace."
I was shocked to see this earlier. Bet he thought he had a few more years to go but also bet he would have liked to go when he was still working. I can remember when he first came on tv my 14 year old friend fancying him. RIP and thanks for your time.
The very first time I saw David Frost was in "That was the Week That Was" He later grew and became one of the world's best TV presenters . He came across , as not having much respect for Presidents/Prime Ministers and had a knack of exposing their darker side , yet without attracting their anger, which left the viewers , to form their own opinions. I, too wish , we could have had a few more years seeing which other of our political leaders he could have , in his own skilful manner was exposed./ He's served us well and now a sad loss. .....
'That was the week' was an amazing program, every week they surprised and were daring and funny and shocking .................. ahhhhhh
He done a Frost over the World program here each week on Al Jazeera and I enjoyed watching his shows. I noticed in every show he always wore red socks with short length trousers Did that mean anything or not? or he just liked red socks?
