So I've decided to start a YouTube channel where I'll offer my opinions on a variety of topics (mostly politics). To avoid aimlessly ranting or going off on an unscripted tangent, I'll be asking subscribers to pose questions relating to whatever topic I'm planning to make a video on and building my commentary around answers to these questions. As I've not yet started, I'll instead (until I have a sufficiently large and active subscriber base) be feilding questions here. As large as this forum is, this should both provide me material for my early videos and draw attention to my channel to get the subscriber ball rolling. So to start off, here is the 1st topic I wish to discuss: Elections This topic isn't meant to be American centric or limited to a specific election, rather the concept of elections in general. You CAN ask me questions about American elections or specific elections but the topic is broader than that and I welcome questions of a logistical, theoretical or philosophical nature as well. Once the channel and 1st video are up, I'll post a link in this thread.
Why should anyone care what you have to say? On what topics are you an expert? What is your professional experience? What is your level of education, and what field?
Can I ask what your objective is? Is there a specific audience you are targeting or is this a personal campaign to educate?
MY OPINIONS. Same concept as posting here, just a potentially larger audience and different medium. A mix of education and my personal take on events. Part of asking others to dictate what I talk about is to avoid going off on some personal manifesto. My overall goal here is to help satisfy the curiosity of others.
should voting be compulsory? should there be a box "non of the above"...which bearing in mind some of the morons we get would get my vote most of the time.....sometimes consent should not be given or at least withheld
Why do tall people win far more elections than short people, irregardless of experience? Why is the make-up person the most important cog on a political election team?
Tall people are attractive and makeup makes ugly people attractive in the right lighting. America has a **** civic culture so elections are popularity contests... Don't really need a video to answer that. lol
