For you to call Islam a "religion" defines you in this forum as UNINFORMED. Only problem is I just now gave you the information you need to know that Islam is not a religion. So what does leave you to be defined as ?

 

The Westboro Church is exactly like the "Christians" who went to the Arab Festival to antagonize the Muslims. Neither of them were violent- we agree with that.

And there is no excuse for the idiots that attacked them. But you insist that the idiots who attacked the Christians in Dearborn must be labeled "Muslim attackers" while you have no apparent interest in whether the attackers of the Westboro Baptists Christians were Muslim or Christian or Hindi?

We are both in agreement that free speech is a right.
We are both in agreement that violence in response to free speech is wrong and illegal.

Where we differ is that you want to label every Muslim for the actions of a few individuals.

As I said- 300,000 people attended this festival- how many broke the law and were violent? 10? 20?

"You should be able to take hold of the flag and take it off the ground and rescue it," states Rep. Sam Gaskill of Washburn, a former Vietnam fighter pilot, told the Associated Press. "If the guy doesn't want to let go of it or he swings back, then the person ought to fight back."

Asked by a reporter whether his bill would allow someone to take aggressive action against a flag-burner, he responded, "I'm sure they could."

Key word is "antagonism". When you try to educate a Muslim out of his ignorance, he considers it antagonism. Muslims have a whole different set of definitions than do normal Americans. And when you try to convert a Muslim away from Islam, he considers that antagonism. He should be saying THANK YOU.

 

People get offended by the 'Truth" all the time. Which is why the Westboro Baptist Church loves to offend people with their version of the TRUTH. I could make all sorts of claims as to what the 'TRUTH' of Christianity is....but why would I deliberately attempt to offend Christians who have a deep faith in their god?

There were no Westboro Christians there. Get back to the facts. There were Christians who were there legally. They were attacked because of their message by violent muslim extremists.

You just can't stand that I am pointing out that other Christians are just as provocative as your Christians. It is completely on topic.
Bible Believers attend Arab Festival and taunt attendees and are attacked by some individuals
Westboro Baptists church attends military funeral and taunts attendees and are attacked by some individuals.

What is the difference between these two- other than the second one doesn't further your agenda of attacking Islam?

 

What gives you the ability to say that the Christians in the video were there to antagonize ? As I recall watching the video, the guy who was preaching wasn't antagonizing, he was a missionary attempting to convert the Muslims to Christianity.
