One thing is for certain after last night...this election is NOT over...not by a long shot

Obama looked like a deer in the headlights when Romney called him out on the bogus "tax breaks for outsourcing" claim. In the process, Romney also built credibility in his business credentials.

Obama seemed to have nothing OTHER than tired, worn out talking points, and when Romney was there to defend himself from those talking points, they didn't hold up to scrutiny.

The Obama camp, in concert with a willing media, has done nothing but character assassinate Romney for the last year or so. Romney FINALLY had the chance to define himself last night, and it calls into serious question the "defining picture" that the left and the media has worked so hard to create.

Flat out...Romney looked in better control of the FACTS last night.

Watching MSNBC last night was quite a treat. Chris Mathews, when speaking to a focus group of undecideds and several of them declared they are now voting Romney, questioned their intelligence because they hadnt yet made up their minds, and demanded to know what newspapers they read. Im left to wonder if he'd have asked the same thing if it were a group that just decided for Obama?

In fairness, the next debate being a town hall format probably favors Obama. The debate after that being on international affairs, at one time would have been thought to be an Obama strength. The recent Middle East controversy changes that narrative dramatically, and represents great danger for Obama.

When Obama starts to wax poetic about what he is going to do....I just wish Romney would say " The American people dont NEED to hear your RHETORIC about your economic policies......they are LIVING THEM"

I could go on and on....but that's probably enough for now

Well,I guess you could be right, looking at the debate through your rose colored glasses.
I saw something totally different-I saw a POTUS be the adult in the room-I saw Romney as a bully & a disrespectful guest to the moderator-I saw a Presidential candidate(Romney) stand there & lie repeatedly(now I am a political junkie,so I know what ole Mitt has said before he flip-flopped his flip-flop)
If you, as a voter are satisfied with a candidate(Romney) that cannot or will not tell the American people the truth or when asked what his platform actually is when he has millions watching-then I guess you could say Romney won the debate-but on what? What Romney proved to me with absolute clarity is that he is a very well seasoned lier,(The very essence of what I abhor in any politician romney gave 100 fold)
I'm glad OBAMA didn't go down into the reeds with a bottomfeeder like romney-so say what you want about OBAMA'S performance-I for one am pleased that OBAMA decided to take the high ground.
So,if a debate is meant to try to persuade voters to change their opinion on who to vote for---Romney failed miserably on all accounts-I'm still a Democrat & I'm still voting for the best candidate------ OBAMA 2012-------

You guys crack me up. One day you whine that Romney has given no details and when he gives some last night, you call them lies. It is pretty obvious you either didn't listened to the debate or only read liberal blogs.

I am not a whiner-I have posted before that Romney has given no details as a (matter of fact-)that's not whining-& I did watch the debate last night with about 50 other people-AGAIN he gave no details about policy proposals(what I am saying he lied about --for example; where ole mitt has said in the past that he would repeal OBAMACARE completely-last night he said he would keep some parts of it-& then we have ole mitt saying he loves teachers,we need more teachers-but he is in video saying we don't need more teachers. Did you hear what tax loop-holes he is going to eliminate when asked? I didn't? these are just a few examples of his flip-flopping lying rhetoric-but that is all he is giving---RHETORIC----NOT DETAILS
And one more thing-it is the GOP that is cracking me up-I have never been more amused( I feel kinda sad actually, for you GOP'S)by such an inept(romney)candidate---EVER----

He gave no details...that's accurate. He did also lie. That's also accurate. How many version of PinkSlip are there anyway?? For every one that says one thing, a quick search and you find some other PinkSlip saying exactly the opposite.
