I assume you mean their policies and not their personalities. E. Warren is the second most tone deaf pol in history.

I am with Tulsi, I already contributed a very small amount but plan on making that amount monthly (if my wife lets me!)

As a Vietnam Vet I grew up in a time when dems semed to hold our soldiers lives in greater esteem than the republicans and wall street. The dems now are just as tied into wall street as the repubs are. the all suckle at the multinational corporate teat, Look at Obama and Both Clintons.

This foreign policy of ours that has us destroying nations in an effort to reshape them regardless of whether the population wants it or not is abhorrent to me. we spent 12 Trillion dollars in the mideast and it is a more dangerous place for their citizens now than it was in 2000. This is 1/2 of our total national debt! For what? who benefited and who paid the cost? Now they want to end the suffering that the sanctions have caused in Venezuela which were a result of that country taking over it own mineral rights from multinational oil companies. If we didn't place the sanctions because of wall street losing profits, the people would not be suffering, so now lets get involved militarily down there to alieve the suffering that our own sanctions created! It is like rumsfield saying Iraq it is not about the oil. And Bolton was one of those WMD in Iraq guys

We got a president who thinks climate change is phooey. Who is not anywhere near a person that you would want to be the representative of our country. Now I like some things Trump has done such as dialog with North Korea, the hard stance he has taken with China, wanting to end our involvement in Syria. Making nato pay more of the cost for their own defense. These are historic Dem values and he is criticized by most of these dems for those stances.

We need to build our military up to be strong, not spend trillions in fighting wars that the people there don't want us to be there. You don't see China and Russia wasting 12 Trill in the Mideast, they are spending their defense money on new and improved equipment.

You don't hear tulsi criticizing Trump for those stances that I laid out, She is not a hypocrite. She is an advocate for medicare for all as I am. (even though it won't benefit me as I use the VA and Medicare already) She wants to end the foreign military intervention of the last 3 administrations. She is not in Israel's pocket and criticizes them publicly when deserved. She wants to spend money in America on infrastructure for our roads and sewage treatment, and water filtration.

So you are going to put someone in the WH just because they have appeal?

Stuff like issues don't matter in the slightest to you huh?

Sounds like the democrats to me.

And you saying that Trump won't have a second term sounds just like when you guys said he would never win.

To me Beto is an empty suit, that will be filled up with other peoples ideas and money. Trump can very well win again, but this time he is the flawed candidate and not hillary.

I am going to stand on a table at the local diner today and call for unity. Maybe I can be president.

After I get arrested for standing on a table at a public eatery.

I think that the Fox News victory dance is a bit premature champ. There are several ongoing investigations into Trumps family business and his foundation. No criminal charges have been leveled as of yet but it remains to be seen whether or not they will. Several of Trump’s close associates like Alan Weiselberg along with Russian mobster Felix Sater are still cooperating with Federal and State prosecutors.

Well, if by legal troubles you mean continual harrassment in court, I would agree. They'll harass you into the grave if they can get a vote out of it.

No, I have started voting Democrat because I view it as the less extreme (usually) party. Many of their major party platforms are how to improve the lives of all Americans instead of just a select handful and I have not seen the egregious ignoring of the will of the people by Democrats recently that the republicans are now displaying.

I usually favor the party not in power however.

Not unborn babies. Before it's over with, the Democrats will be giving out tax incentives to promote abortion, even if the baby is born alive.

I sense Kamala Harris surging. Whether she can beat Trump I don't know, but she's already talking reparations and I think she's warm to the Nutty Green Deal, which will turn off moderate independents.

If I had to bet, I'd bet 3:2 that Trump will beat whoever the Dem nominee is.

The political question of the moment is, are the Democrats smart enough to understand the following?

"Put another way, Mueller was given all of the latitude he needed to complete a thorough and comprehensive report that answered all questions of potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Despite the obvious temptation to continue investigating Trump, based on political differences and an intense dislike of him as an individual, the Democrats must put this issue to bed. The Mueller investigation is over, and the president will not be indicted.

If Democrats continue to look backward at the 2016 election and cry foul, it will seriously hurt their electability in 2020 and create the conditions for Trump’s reelection."

I think they probably are smart enough, but they're on a crazy train and Mad Maxine is the engineer.

Yeh I would rather focus on actual people instead of an undeveloped zygote.
    But to each their own.

I think there should be a sensible point in a pregnancy where an abortion becomes more and more difficult to obtain but an outright ban will cause more damage than good as we have seen in countries that ban the practice. It doesn’t need to be a birth control solution but it doesn’t need to be a criminal offense either.

Even if I were king, I don't know what I'd do about it. Probably multiple criteria: rape and underage incest victims, I'd want to allow abortion ... but it's not the baby's fault it was conceived in violence.

Above my pay grade to solve the abortion dilemma.

The platform for the Democratic Party is a checklist on how to attack a free republic and destroy the liberty of the people.

The Framers knew exactly what they were doing. Their brilliant blueprint provided the foundation for liberty to endure as long as the people could fight off the demagogic lies of ruthless and unethical politicians who couldn't care less about the people, liberty, or posterity.

To be sure, many of those ruthless and unethical politicians have been, and are today, Republicans; but, the very foundations, and every argument of the Democratic Party is rooted in anti-americanism.

Everything the Democratic Party stands for is antithetical freedom and prosperity.

I have no idea why people of both parties want to keep the status quo of attacking this way. You understand that if a Dem is elected he will be treated the same. These attacks while they have weakened Trump Politically have hurt the our Country much more.

I think it is our time as Dems to stop this threat to our system of government. Lose an election, fight harder next time. We as Dems brought this on ourselves by having our party nominate Hillary.

What mainstream arguments from the Democratic Party is rooted in anti-Americanism? You realize that the question of what does America represent can be answered completely different depending on the group you ask. Some believe it should benifit the people, some believe it should only protect the people through military force, some believe it shouldn’t exist at all.

It’s difficult to “fight harder” when the system is set up in a way that benefits one party almost exclusively. Gerrymandering for example benefits republicans 3 to 1 over democrats, the Garland issue is another travesty perpetrated by the republicans. Stacking the courts is another issue that is happening now.

And btw, Democrats didn’t pick Hillary - they picked Sanders, the DNC ignored that.
Very few people ever liked her. I pretty much turned off when that happened.
