It doesn't really matter to them if they "win" or not so long as the donor class funding rolls in.

That was not blown money, that was Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class investment funds, it gets split across "both" parties/elections such that the substantial people always have it covered "either" way.

Democrats will lose Senate seats. They may or may not win House seats. If the House seats were not gerrymanded (if the popular vote actually mattered) they would control the House now.

IF.... P. M. Justin Trudeau's political gambit at this time
results in the USA Democratic Party being demolished in 2018 then......
it is possible that by 2020 they may significantly recover if they put forward Oprah / with Mark Zuckerberg for V.P. and add
Chris Brown into the mix somewhere?

Nice is good. Hoping that government will make your life better is not an effective plan. The responsibility for making things nice is yours.

The Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class is doing just fine, as always, and you simply don't matter.

    To "either" party.

The republicans might well win the next presidential election but one thing is for certain, it won't be trump.

That's been true for my lifetime, but it doesn't seem to be true any more. The economy seemed to make little difference in the 2016 election. In fact, Hillary didn't even run on issues, let alone economic ones.

So no matter how great or bad the economy is on election day this year, that may not be much of a factor in the election.

We have a history of mid terms moving power back to the other party, right? If it does not happen, that would be noteworthy.

I respectfully disagree. Regardless of what they talked about during their respective campaigns, the economy affects each and every voter. Even if it wasn't said the voters knew that Hillary was just Obama with a brassiere and if she was elected it would be 4 more years of Obama's stagnant malaise.

Signs do indeed point to a Dem congress coming up, I also see the Republican party being heavily tarnished if not irreparably damaged. If Trump moves to remove Mueller and the Republicans let him they may very well kill the party for all intent and purpose and if they do not Trump will take many of them with him on his way down....there really seems to be no win.

Sane America is sick up to their eyeballs with the left's bread and butter; Identity/Victim-Oppressor politics, and their obvious belief that constantly attacking their political foes is an adequate replacement for workable ideas and good governance.

Thusly, the only way Democrats regain a semblance of their former power is by defrauding the democratic process (which they've proved they're not at all morally or ethically opposed...hello DNC), or straight up lying...namely, appearing to move back towards the center. and if holier-than-thou gullible moderates and useful idiots let themselves be conned again by the commie scum who've infiltrated the Democrat Party, they will have proved once again that they deserve the contempt that's due.

You're describing the 2016 election, that's not going to happen again. :)

I don't see how democrats can win seats in the Senate. The House is likely beyond democratic control either although they will probably win some seats.

Americans are clearly sick of trumpery.

Republicans had hoped to run on their national debt bloating bill, the only major legislation they managed to pass with the administering of virtual industrial strength suppositories to their minions by McConnell and Ryan, but they had to abandon that loser when they discovered it could not even save their self-proclaimed "Trump before Trump was Trump!" candidate in a blood-red district in Pennsylvania.

Trump is a loser if he becomes hysterical and fires the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel because of what he fears will be revealed, and he's a loser if he allows the Special Counsel to complete his patriotic mission and reveal it.

As November approaches, Republicans will modify their relationship with the Trump manure barge of state accordingly.

Let's hope they hang onto the Senate until 2020 so that august assemblage doesn't dump the Trump and inflict Ayatollah Pence on America.

The Democrats should have won the last election. Anyone but Hillary would have secured the win. If they run Liz Warren in 2020, it's going to force a MASS amount of right wingers to every poll. I really hope they run her.

How is it that the democrats have won in Alabama and Pennsylvania. You red coats are in for an arse whipping this November, followed by an even bigger arse kicking in 2020. Hey handy man, you hitched your horse to the wrong wagon.

    And then what?

Democrats don't think beyond the bumper sticker. Assume the Democrats win in Nov and 2020. If they are true to their word and their past, they will break all the rules to implement their agenda and secure a lock on the govt. They will disenfranchise at least half the nation. Look at how angry Americans are, on all political sides. Each power cycle it gets worse. Its to the point that the losing side (Democrats) are engaging in a soft-coup to change the election results, essentially trying to overthrow the govt. What do you think is going to happen the next cycle? Do you think conservatives are going to just sit and do nothing?

Any republican who doesn't rejoice that Trump is gone is a POS. It's only about 30 percent of the republicans who support Trump. The Great Blue Wave is coming to a town near you this coming November, and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

More bumper sticker BS. You are blurting propaganda. Think.

Its not about how many support Trump, Trump is a symptom of the larger problem which will still be there after Trump leaves. The issue is how many people will support a "progressive" takeover of the government and a prog dictatorship?

After your "Wave" rolls over everyone, what then? Do you think past the bumper sticker?
