Democrats have avoided discussing policy. Yes, this election IS about Biden.

The democrats have done nothing but trash talk their opponent this election. They refuse to discuss their policies and issues. At one point Biden even claimed the people did not deserve to know his policies. This is because the American people do no want the Democrat policies.

We know what Trump's policies are. He has a record to run on and it is a darn good one. Biden needs to explain why anyone should vote for him. This is why the election IS about Biden. Why should we change Presidents? Trump has done a great job despite the Democrats propaganda.

I would vote for the democrats probably if they had chosen anybody but Biden/Harris to head up their ticket. Needless to say, I disagree with the "great job" position. He hasn't been nearly as horrible as the democrats try to paint him either, but I am rather sick of hearing either from him or about him 24/7. Problem for me is that Joe Biden is another bloviating, arrogant, entitled power-hungry, self-serving ******* like Trump, and now with the lap top thing, he is actually even worse than Trump in my book as the press is also giving him free passes on his lies and conspiracy theories.

I just wish life had a fast forward button so I could zoom past the next 4 years.

 

The exact same as 2016 - GOP literally used the same policy platform with the dates closed. Makes threads like this even funnier. Supporters of a party to lazy to even develop policy criticizing Democrats on the issue.

This election is about America's submission to a ruthless duopoly that only seeks to remain in power and augment its control. It is not about our republican democracy, it is about elitist possession of the most powerful nation in history. That the voters have submitted to having no alternative makes the outcome certain before the candidates were even announced.

this is a Presidential election, you make comparisons between the candidates

so the question is, what are Trump's policies, how does he compare in this area?

Hillary made the mistake of releasing her policies and Trump just attacked them without ever releasing his - no reason for Biden to do the same unless Trump does

I don't know how much more Trump can do, he already erased almost all of Obama's EOs, the Republicans will never agree in congress to take up health care again, I don't think anyone else will die or retire on the supreme court, he can't force congress to make mexico finish paying off bill Clinton's wall with mexico.

 

and Biden will erase all of Trump's EO, that is nothing, they are just EO's, Biden can reinstate all Obama's EO's

it's the damage to society and our economy that Trump created that I worry about

republican never cared about our healthcare, but if they end the preexisting conditions and refuse to reinstate it, the people will not be happy

 

A conversation has tw sides and it it is hard to talk policies if only one side has any and the other side has no plan except to make **** up about the side with policies claiming things that are not there

Single payer is not socialized medicine, Trickle up economics work, invest in people not already established corporations, and target the stimulus to helping people. Not protecting business from doing scummy practices like forcing people to work while sick, and giving them immunity to lawsuits.

"Why should we change Presidents?" you wrote. Exactly correct. In the last forty years we have failed to give a sitting president a second term of office only twice. That was Jimmy Carter and G.H. Bush; and in both cases ALL of the citizens were unhappy with the direction the country was headed (albeit the voters of each Party were unhappy for different reasons) . . . and not JUST the voters of the opposition Party. The Left want's to paint the nation as being unhappy with Trump in general and that's not reflected in the polling numbers -- that's right.

Considering that Trump is getting roughly a consistent 98% negative media coverage 24/7/365, logically he should be much, MUCH lowerer in polling returns than is indicated. This is not happening. In reality Trump is probably either dead-even with Biden in honest polling or even a bit ahead of Biden in most cases. This nation doesn't hesitate to dump a failed first term president; but very seldom do they reach that determination by listening to and then BELIEVING leftist generated media propaganda. They reach that conclusion all on their own and it's always that president's voters from his own Party that ultimately turns their backs on him; and that simply is not happening in this election cycle.
