It was ballot harvesting that flipped Republican Congressional districts blue in California.

And guess who the Democrats hired to harvest ballots ? Illegal aliens, DREAMERS.

I thought it was a crime for non citizens to participate in elections in America ?

Heads up liberals, the actual source is the L.A. Times not the American Thinker. -> https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-pol-ca-midterm-elections-dreamers-20190101-story.html
So the "Blue Wave" was all about breaking the law and voter fraud.

Democrats keep telling me how people who employ illegal immigrants need to be prosecuted. I don't think they're serious though.

    Other source and unanswered questions.

    excerpts:

Voter Fraud: Democrats say they oppose President Trump's demand for money to start building a border wall on moral grounds. More likely it's because they know that unchecked immigration — legal or illegal — helps them win elections. If you don't think so, look at what happened in California in the midterms.

    Ballot-Harvesting In Orange County
According to the San Diego Tribune, Fred Whitaker, the chairman of the Republican Party in Orange County, told supporters that GOP losses in the county were the "direct result of ballot harvesting allowed under California law for the first time."

It gets worse from there. In California, at least, it's possible that at least some of the ballots harvested by Dreamers were from people who were themselves ineligible to vote.

That's in part because for decades California wasn't clearing out its voter database of inactive voters.

In fact, it took a lawsuit by Judicial Watch to get the state and Los Angeles County to start removing 1.5 million inactive names from the registration list that could be invalid, as required by the National Voter Registration Act.

Judicial Watch found that the state has more registered voters than it does possible voters. Los Angeles County, it found, "has a registration rate of 112% of its adult citizen population."

Forcing California to purge its registration list of deadbeat voters will, Judicial Watch says, "help ensure cleaner elections."

    Did Non-Citizens Vote?
Meanwhile, an investigation by the Sacramento Bee found that California officials "still can't say whether noncitizens voted in the June 2018 primary because a confusing government questionnaire about eligibility was created in a way that prevents a direct answer on citizenship."

The Bee found that after the state's Department of Motor Vehicles started automatically registering people to vote last April, it "acknowledged making 105,000 processing errors out of more than 2.4 million transactions... https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/ballot-harvesting-midterm-elections/

It would be foolish to believe that illegal immigrants using fraudulent documents to collect tax rebates aren't also using those documents to vote.

Your piece goes on to add paranoid speculations and accusations:

The story doesn't say what the DREAMer/ballot-harvester would do if the voter decided to vote some other way from the way the DREAMer/ballot-harvester wanted the indifferent man to fill the ballot out. Naturally, the incurious reporter also omits the obvious question: Did the foreigner tell the indifferent man how to fill out the ballot? Let's just say the reporter showed a strong interest, based on the rest of her reportage, to protect the foreigner from any accusation of illegal voting.

But only a fool would think she didn't tell the indifferent man who to vote for, effectively voting by proxy.

"But only a fool would think she didn't tell" the guy how to vote, huh? See, there is no basis to be making that accusation, but your conservative propaganda writer has no qualms about making the accusation regardless. Always beating that voter fraud drum, always trying to establish the narrative that Democrats are cheating and illegals are casting votes one way or another for the Democrats.

In California the Democrats and the L.A. Times are supporting ballot harvesting and also using illegal aliens to harvest ballot.

In North Carolina in the 6th Congressional District the Democrats are screaming "voter fraud"and accusing the Republicans using U.S. citizens of harvesting ballots.

In California what did the illegal alien "DREAMER" do with the ballot if the voter voted for a Republican ??? Did the illegal alien or any ballot harvester throw the ballot in the trash where it was never counted ?

That's why ballot harvesting is a crime in most states because the "chain of custody" of the ballot has been broken.

The Democratic California state legislature took a crime (ballot harvesting) which can lead to voter fraud and made it legal.

Now we find out that the Democrats hired illegal aliens to participate in our elections (a crime) and used illegal aliens to harvest ballots (a crime in the rest of the country)

So the question has been answered how Orange County was flipped to becoming blue and how a Democrat "hodad" defeated a surfer in "Surf City" (Huntington Beach, California.)

The Republicans were taking ballots in order to stop people voting. But here, we see people who can't vote encouraging others who do have the right to vote to cast their votes.

looks like collusion to me, they're not citizens, they're here illegally, and they 'helped' lonely people choose which candidates to vote for... it's collusion with foreign peoples, prosecute/persecute the dems...

At the very least you have to admit this is a real eyebrow raiser. What would you think if members of the young Republicans were harvesting ballots in retirement communities? This is just far to open to potential fraud to allow in the future and in California it has already raised legitimate concerns about the outcome of elections. Our voting process is the foundation of America and should be beyond reproach.

"hodad" haven't heard that in decades. Remember the 'Beach Boys'?. They played at the opening of a mall when I was 11; my brother got all 5 to sign a album cover. Probably worth a few dollars today.

The term hodad seem to have fallen out being used by 1970.

Remember grimmy ? It has evolved into being a grom.
