CNN is in full blown hysteria...

    Omarosa's book release...

Spike Lee and his Black Klansman movie...

I've been watching the, "push," with interest and objectivity.

I even went to see the Spike Lee movie...

While Spike wove Trump into the narrative, several intentional historical flaws were revealed.

The most glaring were related to the MAGA innuendos that were selectively placed within the script. No such slogans were being promoted in the 1970's.

But the kicker for me was the Richard M. Nixon campaign posters adorning the walls of the Klan back rooms. An obvious attempt to relate the impeachment theme to Trump.

In reality, the Klan hated Richard Nixon who was instrumental in pushing the US Senate to vote for the Civil Rights legislation that would not have passed without several Republican votes.

Just a reminder for you Spike...

George C. Wallace was the darling of the Klan during that period !!!
    DEMOCRAT through and through !!!

Lee's Black Klansman and DeSouza's Death of a Nation, are both movies. One can take out of them what they wish to take

DeSouza challenges people to research the content of his films.

Spike, on the other hand, could care less about historical accuracy.

Trump's current support from the Black population is growing while the Dems can only "race bait" so much.

Personally I think it's completely disingenuous to pretend that the GOP's "Southern Strategy" never happened and to fail to recognise how the Democratic Party in the South Eastern United States fundamentally changed 50 years ago during the civil rights movement.

Be that as it may .... it's pretty much history. But Trump's race whistles are not ancient history. He embraced the Alt-R for a reason ... he got their votes.

I agree, and it helps that he's racist (or more accurately has said and done racist things for decades - I suppose we can't definitively say what's in his heart) which makes his embracing the Alt-R so convincing.

Looks like you still let the string dangle from your lips..... Cause you've hook, line, and sinker, sucked that line of BS up. Huh? The truth is that the racists in the south were, and continue to be the democrats there. Always and forever. And, they are dying out. And, as they die out, the South retains it's conservancy. That isn't racism. It's a rejection of the liberal permissiveness that otherwise is so destructive to other parts of our nation. Yes, there was an effort to make sure that folks in the south understood that their historic loyalty to the plantation society ended. And isn't that a good thing? For democrats, sure it isn't. For if the south won't support the plantation masters anymore, who will? Oh wait, they moved to IL and NY, and CA. Worry not...

Just keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.

Meanwhile in the real world it has been the GOP fighting a rearguard action against civil rights, the GOP celebrating the traitors who fought for the Confederacy and lost and the GOP who are engaging in the politics of the dogwhistle......

Well if Trump has said racist things and done racist things.....just why isn't there any reporting on that before he became President?

Did the Lame Stream forget to report all of that?

Just ask Sally Yates about her ancestry, especially the Terrell family. The most prolific lynchers in the Southeast.

The Progressive movement was established as a rekindling of the old plantation aristocracy mindset.

DeSouza just sets the record straight. Most KKK members from the 1980's are still Democrats because the Democratic Party is still pushing subordination.

I think it's very telling that the collective is desperate to find out if Trump said a bad word 10 years ago. The hole they are digging is only getting bigger.

Nah. We know better. We aren't "fighting a rearguard" action against civil rights. Quite the opposite. In fact, for every dependency liberals/progressives insist on introducing, we are there to fight against it lest those squashed inside of that dependency lose their real freedoms hard won from folks, like you. I thank you for trying to blow your dog whistle. I, for one, am not having it.

The reality that Trump has recently pulled a significant amount of Black support away from the Democratic Party has the DNC elite and the never-Trumpers wetting their panties.

One poll has his support going from 8% to 21%. I have heard quotes as high as 27%.

The Dems are playing the "card" as hard as I have ever observed... The November mid-terms should prove to be very interesting.

Yeah DeSouzas movie is based on historical facts, and Spike Lees is lacking in historical facts. Guess many will take that and wish what they will.

The timing of all of this is telling too. Either Omarosa is a horrible person or she's working for somebody.

If she really cared about racism and Trump being a racist she would have called him out on it a long time ago.

It does make me feel better. Knowing that we are confronting the corrupt evil that is socialist autocracy, and winning. Yes, that makes me feel better.

These kind of post from the collective give me hope.

    Notice the elitism?

Most regular Americans love McDonald's. I know I do. They do have like 2 billion served.

The collective would rather people starve than eat a food they disagree with

Nixon's southern strategy's soul accomplishment was to convince Wallace to mount an independent run for the presidency which badlly split the Democrat vote in the south.
