Democrats remain well ahead of Republicans in a generic ballot matchup, with 54% of likely voters saying they support the Democrat in their district and 41% backing a Republican, according to a CNN poll conducted by SSRS. This is the laergest lead Dems have since 2006 when they boxed GOP ears heartily and with great enjoyment. Dems poll 62% in that they are extremely or very enthusiastic to vote, up seven points since September among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents. Republicans and Republican leaning independents has increased from 50% in September to 52% in the most recent poll. Read more: https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/09/polit...rms/index.html
It's #MeToo! vs It's all about ME! That's a singularly inauspicious proposition given the stampede of women, especially college-educated, suburban women, away from the Trump-befouled GOP, particularly in the wake of the P-Grabber's demeaning of a victim of sexual assault whom he had declared "credible" and "a very fine woman" before his chronic hyper-partisan abuse of reality kicked in. Eleven old geezers hid behind a woman's skirts in the questioning of the victim of prissy, privileged prepster Brett Kavanaugh (aka the passing-out-drunk "Bart O'Kavanaugh") and now Republicans are hiding behind Lyin' Don's droopy drawers? Fat chance that'll save them. Republicans, who are sniveling in anticipation of their having their candy-arses throttled by the American electorate (with a rolled-up copy of Forbes?) are putting all their eggs in one basket case? Trump's consistently dismal disapproval level is at 52.2%! A drowning man, submerged by a big, blue wave, is so desperate he will grab a cement life preserver if that is all he is offered. Of course, Republicans might well get their wave soon.
The same people who preached Hillary's landslide then blamed Russia for losing, are now preaching the #bluewave . If these people were thinking it was going to be close and that democrats were going to lose I would be worried...
Progs throwing feces against the wall hoping something sticks....over and over again, day in and day out. Division and identity politics as a platform for all to see. Please keep pushing this agenda, keep Pelosi, Waters and Schumer out front as your spearhead and mouthpiece.
"There's extremists that say dumb **** and that's not okay. I'll also go on record to say that no party is immune from them and if some idiot on the "other side" says/does something heinous like that, I won't be attempting to try and pretend that all you guys support it either." Toefoot is for his party what he is describing about the extremists in the other party.
The American people see where the crazy hate and anger is coming from and who is egging it on. It's not Republicans.
Keep your fingers crossed that the polls are better than they were in Nov. of 2016. The poll that matters is the one taken at the polls.
