I've seen DeSantis go after Biden, I haven't seen him go after Trump.

It's not annoying to shout all the time at people whose heads are so far up their superior's ass they can't hear you?

Trump is the leader of a personality cult; to dare even suggest that he may have ever made a mistake is to end one's political career if one is a Republican

Fake News. You should get out more and actually meet the people you are commenting on. Speaking of cult hive minds, what are your thoughts on how some on the Left are attacking Manchin and Sinema simply for holding the same views many of them did before Dems were in the majority?

I've never met Trump and don't intend to. Just being close to someone who is that toxic is dangerous

Sinema is naive. Manchin is a DINO and totally owned by the coal cos.

"Oh daddy woncha take me on board Almost Heaven? Down to Manchin County where Paradise Lay. Well I'm sorry my son but you're too late in askin' Mr Peabody's coal train has hauled him away.

Trump's protégé is learning fast. How exciting!

Chapter: Hypocrisy: Stab someone in the back for doing something you are also doing.

Next week's lesson: How to lie and steal so your voters empty their pockets for you.

    ----------------------------------

Beyond that craziness, how in the world can Orange Jesus snub his nose at closet vaxxers? He didn't tell anybody that he got the vaccine in January when he claims it happened.

Personally, I don't believe he got vaccinated. Obviously, the primary reason is he's a pathological liar but he's also media whore so he would have wanted a pat on the head for being a good boy that got his vax. He's anti-vax. Always has been and now he thinks he's immortal because they gave him Regeneron at Walter Reed. Too bad it wasn't strychnine.

PL: Run over to Mar-a-Loser and ask him when he's going to make good on his promise to leave the country if Biden won?

You are making some rather odd claims about a large group of American's relationship toward Trump. Your observations strike me as wholly unfounded, so I'll ask you again, do actually know anyone who holds the belief system you claim is widespread?
It's fine with me if you drive either one of them from the Party, then if Beyers retires the seat can stay vacant until President DeSantis names his replacement.
Manchin represents the State of West Virginia. Coal is important to their economy, and ours as a fifth of our electricity is produced from coal.

West Virginia has been a Deep Blue state since FDR. In 1992 it was D+13 for Clinton. Clinton carried it again in 1996, but since then the constant stream of arrogant insults from some folks on the Left toward this former ally has turned them into a solid Red State, so thank you. Dems don't really have the majority, Manchin is an anachronism that dates back to their fairly recent history as a Deep Blue state, but, a few more kicks to the teeth should resolve that.

With the exception of the First Nations the people of Appalachia have been the one group more victimized by a specific industry (coal) than almost any other group in the US today.

Trump and the Republicans have added insult to injury by acting as if mining coal is all they can do.

Coal, like oil, will remain an important storehouse of substances for the synthetics industry into the foreseeable future IF we do not burn it all up and so ruin our climate. Strip mining for coal has ruined a goodly portion of West Virginia for forests, residences and almost anything else

I've talked to Trumpers and read their blogs, The underlying philosophy/ideology I see is pure white nationalism/white supremacist. You can see it anytime you want by studying Mein Kampf.

I've read Trumper blogs and compared them to Mein Kampf. It's clear and unmistakable as a subtext.

I invite anyone to do the same and make up their own mind.

    Is your reasoning the following?

i)I read some "trumper" blogs that indicated they believed x
    therefore,
ii) All 80 million of Trump's voters believe x.

    Every Trumper Blog I read.

And every Trumper I talked to, or listened to their speeches. Doesn't matter if its every one, it's the subtext of their avowed ideology, particularly that of Trump himself, and we all know how tolerant and encouraging of diverse opinion he is.

Trump has 30 million people at best. I don't know how many and neither does anyone but they're appear to be FAR more numerous than they are; vociferousness and poll manipulation are their major stock in trade. They get more votes than that because of the bandwagon phenomena but they are actually a tiny minority if the history of other totalitarian movements is any indication. (the Communists and the Nazis Party were actually small elites)

    Fake News.
    • 74,216,154 Americans voted for Trump.
    • It's not Republicans trying to boss everyone around.
    And, I see you dodged:

    Is your reasoning the following?

i)I read some "trumper" blogs that indicated they believed x
    therefore,
ii) All 74 (Corrected) million of Trump's voters believe x.

I just want to make sure I have this right.
You are claiming DeSantis is a gutless coward for
not admitting to taking a vaccine booster,
for the J&J vaccine shot that he took,
that J&J claimed doesn't require a vaccine booster?

Having worked and lived in West Virginia this resonates. I see eco-tourism as having a strong future.

West Virginia is demographically and geographically challenged though. There are no mid-sized, let alone large cities. Anything decent in terms of shopping, services or health and we need to go over the border.
