    Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua in INDIA!!!!???

I first ran into the idea of Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua travelling to India in the writings of Levi Dowling. Now I have found what I consider to be an even better writing on this fascinating subject.

The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ by Levi Dowling states that Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua learned much of his healing gifts in India!

    Yes and no.

About Yeshu going to India to learn from people who believe in hundreds of gods, such part is indeed comedy.

About his birth, the link is very approximate.

1)- By using simple mathematics one can have a similar result.

The tradition establishes 33 1/2 years of existence for Yeshu.

He died between March and April, months where Passover is celebrated according to the counting of months. If you substract 6 months from March or April, you will end with the months of September and October. You take later the 33 years and whola, very simple, right?.

2)- Another method is given by the Bible itself, when is mentioned the father of John as a priest of the Temple having duties to fulfill. His turn of service in the Temple was the course of Abijah. If you go back to the times of king David, you will notice that the courses were selected to work in turns. The turn of Abijah ended and Zachariah went back home and his wife Elisabeth conceived. The month which corresponds to the course of Abijah is around June and July.

Six months later, Mariam conceived, this is to say December or January, and nine months later Yeshu was born, this is to say in September or October.

Definitively December is not the month when Yeshu was born.

I completely agree with the idea that Messiah Jesus / Yeshua was probably born around the time of the annual Fall Jewish festivals!!!!

Probably not.. Its doubtful that Jesus ever traveled more than 30 miles from home.

    1John 4:3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

I suspect that the time is coming when we Christians will finally realize that there is much more in this verse than we tend to imagine.........Rabbi Jesus/ Yeshua.......was indeed human....and stated clearly that of his own power he could not do the miracles....but that the Father did the miracles.....

    - - - Updated - - -

This is a good point because the majority of people of that time period didn't travel very far....but some of those stories from India and Nepal are indeed impressive......

    http://reluctant-messenger.com/issa.htm

Also......the fact that his parents fled to Egypt....shows that Rabbi Jesus/ Yeshua came from a family who had travelled extensively for that time period.....

Likely he was not a world traveler but as the son of a carpenter he would have encountered people of other faiths at builds in the Galilee and would have learned eastern faith along with his own, Babylonian, Greek and Roman faiths that hung to the area for most of the first few centuries of the Common Era. While much of Jesus' teaching and actions are very common in the Jewish world at the time, he wasn't the only one saying some of the things he said, he was, in fact probably far more educated than people think.

Or he is a conglomerate of many teachers at the time.

I have referred to Rabbi Nachman of Breslov as the Jewish Edgar Cayce......

A powerful case can be presented that Rabbi Jesus/ Yeshua had ideas on mysticism just as radical as Rabbi Nachman.....

The quotation is about reincarnation, not really about hell, and here is a special case that should be of extreme all Jews who would be interested in the possibility that perhaps Miss Anne Frank may have reincarnated????!!!

A significant part of the book can be viewed in the preview. I am on page 16....this is fascinating!!!!!!!

    I personally am a universalist.

My belief at this time is that not one minute in The Void / the purgatory hell realms is wasted.

From what I have read....... whatever twisted, greedy, selfish, perverse desire may remain within us......… can be vented in the fifth and sixth dimension of space - time/ the Void....... but..... this principle is absolute and eventually.........… our darkest desires will be transformed into empathy, compassion, understanding, wisdom and love!

    Luke 7:47

"Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little."

Just noting what an odd response this was to a thread about the history of the individual in question.

Quite gives the impression that the poster doesn't care for discussion of Jesus.

there are many who say Jesus did not travel to the Far East - but history shows him using Indian/Chinese mudras (sacred hand signals used as therapy and for religious reflection):

    https://www.google.com/search?q=jes...a=X&ei=w8qWVfXgDceqsAXg7baIDQ&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ

    https://www.google.com/search?q=jes...8qWVdDaJoG4sAWx6JOoBw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAA&dpr=1.1

In my very limited reading of the subject I have not found too many references to their use by Egyptian medics though they were not entirely unknown to them. We known that the ancient Israelites used mummification to bury their dead and used Egyptian cannabis for medical purposes. Therefore, it is possible that Jesus learned mudras from Egyptian medics though some claim his use was learned in the ancient Far East.

Not if it turns out to be a way to educate a significant percentage of Muslims to the idea that Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus - Issa, who the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) identified as the Jewish Messiah, had so much in common with Buddhists and Hindus.

I read years ago that it was more likely that he would be born in the Autumn, on or near Sukkot / The Festival of Tabernacles.

Apparently that was the time of the year when shepherds were likely to be out with the sheep at night.

Also..... it seemed that the Romans were using the Jewish Festivals as a good time to do a census.

I think the whole concept is poppycock. You give way to much credit to the Indians. Jesus didn't learn how to heal lame people from some Indian sage.

For 26 years now I have been dealing with a pretty important theological and philosophical question.

Is, the being of light of NDE fame who reviews lives with people who have a brush with death...… really Messiah Yeshua - Jesus in his glorified form.... keeping his promise..... to judge each of us........OR..... is the being of light of NDE fame a powerful fallen angel...… appearing as an angel of light?????????

At this stage of my life I am convinced that the being of light is indeed the Word - Logos who was once upon a time about two millennia ago.......... Vulcan Mind Melded.... sort of..... into the consciousness of Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus!

I do not want to write off the information about the life of Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus that has been given to near death experiencers.

    Here is an example:

    http://www.thomastwin.com/7 A Thomas samples.html

Near death experiencer Dr. MacDonald verified the tradition of Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus travelling to India.
