Yes he did. Prior to the Pandemic, we had a huge gains in the US economy. The Stock market reached historical levels. He cut economic treaties that did not make the US a pawn to other countries. More importantly, he did not get us involved in a war like Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr and Obama did. He is almost the first President in Generations that can make that claim.

The only ones that claim that Trump is a Disgraced American are those that hated President Trump for carrying out his campaign promises despite Congressional opposition. Also those that fell for the false narrative that President Trump incited an insurrection. They parrot and believe all the liberal lies.

No, he started an extremely popular movement based on a solid platform. Personally, I hope he chooses not to run again in 2024. The winning message could use a more polished messenger, but MAGA as an idea is not going to fade away.

During the Reagan Era, a lot of us found our place in good, long-lasting careers, with excellent compensation packages. The country emerged from the criminality, malfeasance, lethargy, and stupidity of the post-Vietnam period which featured presidents like Nixon, Ford, and Carter. Under Reagan and his almost miraculous partnership with Fed. Chairman, Paul Volcker, we rapidly emerged from the economic wreckage of hyperinflation, "Stagflation", two "energy crises", and finally, directionless Democrat ineptness.

A lot of us weren't made "RICH" by Reagan, but by the time 1990 rolled around, a lot of us were a hell of a lot "RICHER" than we were in 1980. The dollar was strong, the economy was roaring, inflation virtually disappeared -- oh -- and the Soviet Union was broken, buckled, and headed for extinction by the end of 1991.

Compare THAT with the totally fugged-up situation we have in the United States today, and then try to think we've been made "great again". And, in fairness to Trump, he couldn't do it alone. Now we've got ol' Joe and the Jamaican Voodoo Queen running things with the promise to shower us with "Obama 2.0" and "woke" neo-socialism. We'll be lucky if we have still HAVE a country in ten years from now....

I agree, the Reagan and Clinton years were good years... then it went down hill from there with tax cuts for the rich, greedy corps outsourcing our jobs, ect....

let's go back to the tax rates under Reagan for the rich

let's create speed limits for excessive foreign outsourcing and excessive foreign imports

The off-shoring went into high gear under Daddy Bush, and it never stopped. You're right... and now we've got China threatening the world because of unbridled greed on the Left and the Right in THIS country....

Yeah but how come the American people didn't vote for his second term? Are the majority of Americans deranged or something? Or the Dems stole the election "fair and square"?

It boggles the mind, isn't it? If the state wants revenue, it shouldn't allow the off-shore legislation. I never understood this - why would the state let taxes go away? :psychoitc: More taxes - more benefits for the citizens, less taxes - less benefits for the people. It's not rocket science. :furious:

Intention or catchphrase means the same thing to the turd. His minions appear to not know the difference anyway, so it was effective, but then when you ask them about the turd's policies, they just repeat his catchphrases. Just like a Catch 22.

That's not what I meant. It just means that if the GOP splits, neither half will have enough votes to make a difference for quite some time. The GOP needs to have a reckoning. It is so far removed from anything I remember. I don't want there to be only a Democratic party, but the GOP has gone off the rails. When, or if, conservatives get their act together, they'll be welcomed to the table for civil debate. Till then, they've got some soul searching to do.

Nothing like a "If you hate Trump, raise your hands" poll!

Lets see how things are in six months.

"Solid platform", Trump is a man who stands for nothing and such a platform can never be described as solid. Trump only did harm and things in politics will only get worse from here on.

Luckily, politics do not matter that much when all comes around.

    Fingers crossed indeed.

It will once the next cult leader comes along. Or tjey'll all just turn to religion for answers (cringe).

Can you explain? Last I heard, it was one dead police officer who apparently had a stroke or something later, one woman shot by capitol police, and two folks who died of medical ailments outside the capitol.

Helped me and I am "lower middle class." Received refunds after years of not getting them.

See, that's why I find it hard to believe that the election wasn't a set-up. Can hardly believe that THAT MANY people want their taxes higher, the country swarming with illegal immigrants including criminals, and to lose jobs. I mean, is half the country dumb enough to vote against their own self interest??

I almost always skip over posts that use name-calling (or cartoons), assuming the poster is a seventh grader. I bet others do also. Just so you know...

I just Googled it and two police officers committed suicide after being present at the Capitol riot. I was only aware of one officer's (death from injuries) and one officer's (death by suicide) at the time I posted.

Two officers who helped fight the Capitol mob died by suicide. Many more are hurting.

I think the olds of that pronounced a split are extremely low. It looks like The Lincon Project and other anti-Trump “Republican” groups are circling the drain. Truth be told, Biden is the biggest recruiter and inspiration for GOP unity.
I wouldn’t assume Trump will be the face of the GOP going forward, at least not for much longer, although I think the popularity of many of his policies will continue to influence the right, e.g. “Trumpism without Trump”.
Rumors of the death of the GOP are greatly exaggerated.

And it's even worse than that! These off-shoring American corps get to park their profits overseas, untaxed in THIS country...until they can get a 'friendly' regime in Washington D. C. to declare a "tax holiday" or some other slimy special consideration so that they NEVER have to pay a truly 'fair-share'....

Trump didn't change this, and it's fair to say that NO DEMOCRAT ever changed it, either (not even the 'poor-man's' friend, "Messiah" Obama).

Truth? "Fat Cat" Republicans AND "Limousine Liberal" Democrats like the tax laws in this country EXACTLY as they are -- they'll never really make any substantial, REAL reforms to them!

Trump wanted to lead us into a fantasyland of wishful thinking.
I'd rather vote for Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck or any Disney character over Donald Trump

Or someone who kills American pipelines and jobs to support a Taliban pipeline and promises to raise your taxes?
