Republicans are a bunch of collectivistic and altruistic Christians who dislike freedom as much as they dislike capitalism. The GOP are not really any different from the DNC as far as fundamentals go and an even more unamerican trend within the party is that it is more and more turning to nationalism.

It was /is just a slogan. There was never an elaboration on HOW this would happen...........or in what areas of need. Areas such as racism, violence, have never been all that great..........so how could he make them great AGAIN?? Mind you ...his focus was always Money......... and economy. and this relates t o his personal obsession with wealth and the lifestyle it can render. You forget that from the beginning our political system in this country is all about 'shades of grey'. There is no "snowy" white, and (so far) there's no "obsidian" black. But, the more divided we become, the greater the possibility that we may attain either one, or the other....

He created an illusion of reality that people liked. It took a lot of lies and minimizing the negatives in order to paint a positive picture that did not exist. For eg: he minimized the pandemic , called it a hoax and kept saying it would be over in short order. A total load of BS.........but people wanted to hear that as they did not want to face the reality of the seriousness of the pandemic. But heck, if it makes one feel good....... that seems to be all that mattered. Even if this feel good state is built on LIES. And pleeze don't say he didn't lie........ Just go to fact checkers and look at the volumes of falsehoods that came from him This is why there is a big infraction problem now. People have bought into his lies and conspiracy ideas while others saw them for what they were...a false narrative.

What happens when REALITY comes crashing in?? People look for someone to blame. instead of assessing their own beliefs and intake of information.

 

It was no illusion, the economy was off and running and the lies were from the MSM to discredit Trump. You can hate him because you can't stand orange or because he's the most irritating speaker I ever tried to listen to but he got results. If he hadn't been so successful at dismantling the Globalist agenda he wouldn't have been so hated. Then the DNC and their media propagandists dismantled the best chance we had to recover some of our system from the invasion. Joe is going to reach a point in the near future when he will simply be unable to maintain the myth and the curtain will drop, and the reality of which you speak will be exposed and we will see who has been driving all along.

The economy did do well. No question there. ..until the pandemic. Which he mishandled badly. If people are not well or living a contagious pandemic i they cant work to keep the economy going.People's health and the economy are closely intertwined. It is not about hating him. Irrelevant. What is relevant is his capability for the job and his diplomatic skills. (which he had none) We have differing views of the man and his capabilities. That is fine. We all don't need to think the same way . And should not.

After losing the White House and the Senate the Republican party found him indispensable.
He convinced the GOP and millions of Americans not to trust American courts, not to trust the Attorney General (nominated by Trump), but to trust only him.
He convinced GOP that the Commander in Chief was not responsible for defending the Capitol Hill.

The pandemic was not his doing and he was pushed reluctantly into the shutdown. Nothing he could have done would have ended the infection, it still rages today. What we did early on was fight it and Trump was effective in getting aid to those governors and mayors who asked for it. Nobody would ever call him a diplomat but he was not elected to be that or to continue the status quo. The first month was the first month and it would have been no different whoever was in office. They might have gotten better press though.

 

Of course the pandemic was not his fault. Where he comes in is how he mishandled it......starting with the hoax crap.........which started the misinformation flowing thick and fast. No matter what the experts said...... they were denounced or ranted on on Twitter by him. (Because they presented facts about the pandemic and he wanted everyone to believe HIM and his BS. He operates on the MY way or the highway premise.......and that is no way for a leader for a democratic nation to behave. IMHO....... I don't think one can blame the press for his bad behavior.as the whole world was privy to it live a lot of the time. He was far too interested in wasting time by creating some shock factor. You might see it differently......and that is just fine.
