What is sad is that we the people have fallen for the corruption of federal funds going to other governments. Those other governments are taxing authorities themselves. Good management and a revenue stream should obviate the need to take federal funds. We should outlaw the practice.

Society benefits from an efficient and well managed government, something we haven't had for a long time.

agree, this admin has spent more than any other President in history, with no end in sight - and is definitely not well managed

and now he is firing the oversight and replacing with loyalists

when Biden wins, he should fire all the oversight and put in his own loyalists, see how the right likes it

in today's times, the right would of supported and defended Nixon

Odd how Rs want to put America 1st. But screw the workers needed to put America 1st.

And the Dems are trying to put safeguards in for the workers. And the R Senate is saying DOA.

How do so many people vote R and cut their own well being.

Nothing in my post was partisan. You posted your partisan opinion. My opinion is the last time we had a well managed government was during the Jackson administration.

On this particular issue I agree with you because even if Republicans don't like certain aspects of the house bill saying DOA doesn't absolve them. What the Senate Republicans can't amend it and remove exactly what they think is wrong? And this wait and see is bs to me too any reason to do the stimulus the first time should be even more reason this time. They've given the citizens 293 billion and the other 2.5 t to there pals.. McConnells wait and see if the 1st round was effective is dumb too imo. 1stly in what way could the direct payment portion be ineffective? 2ndly that seems awful callous to poor people who used their money stocking up and stress buying because the governments handling of this situation.

Does McConnell and gang not envision a resurgence in winter followed by another steep drop in the economy?

The way I see it these summer months are a chance to make up for the lost ground from spring and to get ahead of the eventual winter resurgence and following freak out. To do that they need to do everything they can to super charge the economy for the summer months
