I suggest you look at: https://www.politifact.com/punditfa...ty-undocumented-immigrants-show-court-data-s/
for a more accurate statistic. From 2012-2016, the average percentage of asylum seekers who failed to work within the system was about 35%--NOT 90%. That's a huge difference. If you're going to make a case against legal immigration, at least use accurate info. Don't rely on Trump's exaggerated, fake statistics.

Until Politifact is fact checked, I don't believe what Politifact says.
    Politifact is a DNC operative.
Politifact has been politicized and supports open borders.

The source you posted, Washington Examiner is recognized as biased toward the conservative view, & is unreliable as a neutral political source.

There is no debating whether or not they attempted. They attempted. We don't know if they were successful, but they were offered the chance and they pursued it.

Did Trump or anyone in his campaign collude or attempt to collude?
Evidence is mounting that there was some collusion between Russia & the Trump campaign, and knowing what a control freak Trump himself is, I doubt he wasn't involved personally.

There is no longer any neutral political source.

There use to be back when America was great.

Guess which newspaper use to be completely unbiased and neutral in its reporting ???

Fifty years ago it was the Christian Science Monitor.

It's been a long time since news was covered from a neutral standpoint. I think that died with Walter Cronkite retired.

Out of curiosity, when exactly do YOU consider the time when America was great? Why?

So, you need a go between to use russians to try to beat a person running for president? ha ha Trump should have hired someone like steele to talk to russians, instead of his son going and talking to them. To get dirt on the opposition.

This seems like pure nonsense to me. But then, this trump putin conspiracy has looked like partisan nonsense from the get-go to me.

I of course can change my mind if I ever seen any verifiable evidence of such a conspiracy. Perhaps Mueller will present it? I am not holding my breath on that.

Even Walter Cronkite lied to the American people and our enemies took notice and used Cronkites big lie for their advantage.

Walter Cronkite lied about the Tet Offensive of 1968.

I would have to say during the 1950's.

    Why ?
Because America was great back then.

When I was young and growing up during the 1950's I always wished I was six or ten years older so I would have been part of the "Luckiest Generation."

    The Luckiest Generation...
To young to have fought during WW ll or sent to fight a war in Korea but to old to have been sent to fight a war in Vietnam.
But more men of the Luckiest Generation served in the military than Baby Boomers who served during the Vietnam War era.

Do you believe that Russia determined the outcome of the election?

If you can't admit that there's substantial evidence of collusion already out there, either you're not listening, or you're so prejudiced for Trump that no evidence matters to you.

    1. What about the Tet Offensive did Chronkite lie about?
    2. I expected the 1950s would be your answer.
    3. I think the reason the 1950s is regarded so highly by so many people is that it's the time when the national focus was on building the middle class, and that meant more Americans were being included in the benefits of a post-war, economically strong America.

#1. Walter Cronkite reported that the U.S. military was defeated during Tet when the truth was Tet was the biggest military defeat in North Vietnam's history.

Gen. Giap was in discussions with Uncle Ho after getting his ass kicked during Tet of negotiating a conditional surrender until after listening to Cronkite and then hearing about the anti war demonstrations on the streets in America and changed their strategy of winning the war on the streets of America by continuing a war of attrition in South Vietnam waiting for when Americans got tired of the war and demand bringing the troops home.

#2. Anyone who was around during the 1950's would agree that America was great during the 50's.

    #3. I concur.

    FYI:
Back in the day nobody knew if Walter Cronkite was a Democrat or a Republican.
It wouldn't be after Cronkite retired that America found out that Cronkite was a filthy rich liberal elitist.

Back when there were still real journalist in America one never knew where the journalist stood politically.

Opinions were kept on the editorial pages not embedded in the news.

Several people that had worked for the Trump campaign were busted for various offenses including money laundering overseas but so far there has not been a single person that has been brought up on charges of colluding with Russia to alter the election. Almost two years into this big investigation and nobody has anything at all on Trump either. No matter what anybody says by now it really does look like a witch hunt.

As for pt2 I doubt women and African Americans would have thought the 50s all that great? Or guy sitting in their foxholes in Korea? Whilst in many ways it was the idealized postwar period you shouldn't think it was terrific for everyone.

The 50's was the beginning of the civil rights movement, propelled by black musicians such as fats domino and little richard.

When you pulled into a gas station the attendant pumped the gas for you, checked the oil, cleaned your windshield, and gas was cheap as poo then.
Girls started changing from bobby socks to rubbers.

    TV was free.

    Long distance was costly.

    Sock hops were cool.

Tight dresses and lipstick, sporting high heel shoes.

Tailor made trousers with 1 and 1/2" belt loop drop, and peg 14".

I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now.

15 cent hamburgers, 10 cent french fries (made with real potatoes), 20 cent milkshakes, from McDonalds in Downey, CA where I lived at that time (so did Karen Carpenter).
A lot of people had swimming pools.

Bowling cost three lines for a dollar on Saturday morning.

New 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, cost 11 k in CA (probably cost 300k today).

They were the best of times and the worst of times.

Why are you not being truthful? Plenty of things have panned out to be true. Stop lying.

Kinda like Obamacare, (ACA) most, the vast majority of Americans had health insurance and were happy with their doctor and wanted to keep their doctor. But to appease the other 10%, nobody is happy now except for maybe the 10%.
