Going to turn out he was killed by rogue elements in Saudia Arabia or foreign nationals who supported Iran and the killers were unsurprisingly killed in a gun battle while being arrested.

What does what I do for lunch have to do with this? I eat lunch at home. I am retired. You didn't even get a yes or no question right.

Americans concerned about government corruption had better wake up. It began in earnest in 2016.

Mueller is certainly cleaning out the Trump administration. Or did you mean corruption in Saudi Arabia?

I did get the question right - you just can not seem to figure out that just because one asks a simple yes or no question - does not make that question valid (referring to your nonsense question in relation to "do you know his fiance" - followed by your inane response about not answering a dumb question" - even though it was explained to you why the question was dumb.

One of the German newspapers is reporting that they thought the WAPO reporter was working for an intelligence agency... Should we care?

So much drama about a simple question. I will just ignore your drama and go the path that I was going to in the beginning.
    Do you know me?

Corruption in Russia, of course corruption in Saudi Arabia, and worst of all, corruption by a lying crook of a president who will happily overlook the wrongs committed ultimately by these corrupt foreign heads of state who need only deny their involvement for the POS to shrug and take up their defense.

Don't forget he has also already betrayed his underlying motivation and bias in this - money.

You were the one that created drama because you could not understand my simple response to your question. The fact that I had to explain it to you tells me much about you.

What part of " almost no one on this forum knows personally the people they are discussing" is difficult for you to understand ?

Then we can agree that you don't know his fiance (Hatice Cengiz) and you don't know me.

    Do you trust me?

I believe the fiance's claim that she was waiting for her husband to be outside the Embassy - but he never showed.

You didn't answer the question but you know the direction I am going. She has no first hand knowledge about what happened in the embassy. She wasn't there. I will continue to wait for more information before I make an opinion as I don't trust any of the actors in this situation, on either side. I am not in the habit of making a knee jerk emotional opinion based on what will make me feel good or supports my agenda. You can do that if you want. It's your right. I will fight for your right to have an opinion and I will fight for my right not to have an opinion. Nowhere does it state that I am absolutely required to have an opinion.

I have yet to give any opinion. I asked a simple question. The fact of the matter is that she was there. She was waiting outside the Embassy. The Dude went in and never came out.

There is video footage of him going in... no footage of him coming out.

This much we know. We also know that he is still missing.

The idea that we do not know this much is akin to claiming "prove the moon is not made of green cheese" - which was the original point.

We have three corroborating pieces of evidence for at least this much.

Now - Lets say the fiance is colluding with Turkey and that somehow the video footage was faked and Khasshogi is in on the plan and tends to remain in hiding for the rest of his life.

Far fetched ? Yup ...Ludicrous even ? Yup ... but lets go with the possibility anyway ... after all - do we really know for sure that Aliens are not mining the moon around Pluto for cheese.

There is a further complication however. The Saudi's could easily debunk the Turk/Fiance/Khasshogi conspiracy by showing video footage from inside the Embassy.

I think we are safe to say "this much we know" - that he really did go in the Embassy and did not come out - regardless of whether or not we "Trust" the fiance.

When I wrote that quote it wasn't hitting the major news outlets. It took several days to hit the news cycle

No US citizen should have to lose a factory job because Saudi's killed a Saudi citizen in a foreign country.

He was a permanent resident of the US, in trouble with the Saudis in part for the work he did for one of our newspapers, and the father of US citizens. Trump is more than willing to risk our factory jobs when it comes to his trade squabbles. He's more than willing to call out Germany for the "crime" of selling "too many" cars to us. Yet he has more harsh words to say about our own press and Western allies than he does murderers? Hell, he was harder on Kristen Stewart than this just for cheating on her boyfriend.

It's fake news. About 50 foreign journalists (non-US citizens) are killed in that shathole Mexico per year, and not a peep.

If Cashoogi can get justice in Arabia, fine, but he's not worth one manufacturing job.

I find this absurd. That trump is willing to risk our factory jobs. ha ha. Where in the hell were you when the dems joined in with the GOP and deindustrialized the US? ha ha ha.

Hell, democratic and GOP voters should be praising him, for getting rid of more factory jobs since this is what what parties have been about for decades! Complete and utter incoherence!

In the last analysis this is about the differences between the Wahabi's (the King of Saudi Arabia) and the new interlopers (the dead Saudi journalist) who want to reform Islam. The U.S. should stay the hell out of this religious squabble and not lose one manufacturing job for it.

We've lost many jobs due to Trump's trade war. Those are the facts.
