There are those who talk a good talk, but that where it ends. Then there are those who really care and it is apparent by their actions. I don't believe in abortion, but I don't think my beliefs should be forced onto others. (That makes me pro-choice) I would like to talk with someone who has adopted children, works with children, provides foster care, or any other action that shows you care enough to give more than words. IMO, those people are the only real pro-lifers. For the pro-talkers, please sit this one out.
Oh, they've popped up in the past to claim they do all that but there is no proof...except for their continued hatred of poor children so I don't believe a word they post...
I am morally pro-life. However, we should have learned by now that it's impossible for a government to prohibit behavior that people want to behave in, be it abortion, drugs, booze, guns, etc. Passing laws that large numbers of people are going to disobey is a bad idea.
Making abortion illegal is also a law that will be extremely hard to suspect, investigate, and prosecute.....a waste of time....
Thus do we see 50 years of futility, still being played out by people who do not understand rational thought. Einstein stated it best: Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein
Very good comments. Those tho want laws preventing abortion are more interested in being righteous than helping humanity.
Even if you did get pro-lifers to answer, in my opinion until they support not sending children back to south America and support stopping drone bombing of civilians which kill pregnant women and children, they are not, nor ever will be pro-life. Pro-life is just a label that projects a caring ideology to others, they should be called pro-american life or pro-forced pregnancy, because that is the reality of what they support.
