    Wouldn't that create quite the conundrum for the anti-gay, anti-abortion crowd - especially since such a test would probably not be 100% accurate.

    How would such ultimately be any different from present practices, of using genetic tests to see if a fetus has some disease such as down syndrome before deciding to abort it?

    Maybe because the anti abortion crowd is rarely also anti down syndrome?

    I don't think there will ever be a generic test to determine sexual orientation. I don't think it's entirely genetic. If there is anything within genetics that causes it I'd suspect it is a pleiotropic cause. Meaning 95% of the people with the genetic code would be heterosexual.

    As far as your hypothetical, that will cause issues with many different view points.
