The Tea Party people where indeed armed but the police weren't needed. There was no violence. Unlike the occupy Wall Street movement.

I don't think you know what a fascist is. In fact, I'll wager you have no real clue.

Oh it's FREEDOM you want, is it? The sort of FREEDOM that allows a different political party than yours to take office via democratic vote?

Honestly, sometimes it's like listening to 13 year olds. I'm so ashamed :frown:

I would hope that if you or any J20 troublemakers get out of line that they should show leniency at first by using water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets.

I would also set the dogs on you if you persist.

In Ukraine many of the people did not support the fairly elected government so they staged a coup.

I've been to Izmail, Ukraine twice since then. Ukraine is not at peace. America should learn from Ukraine's mistake unless America wants to become like Ukraine. Democratic elections can not be overturned without paying a very heavy price.

Don't like the government? Go to the polls and vote in the next election. Democrats did not lose because of a rigged election. Democrats lost because they had a candidate who was so disliked that thousands of democrats in Philadelphia didn't want to vote for her and so they ignored president Obama's call and they refused to go to the polls. The democrats lost in the midwest because they ignored those people, where as Trump didn't.

I've personally seen the road that many rebellious democrats are now trying to follow. This road does not end in peace.

If Trump won because the election was rigged then the media, who doesn't seem to favor Trump, should expose the situation. Then the current president, who doesn't seem to favor Trump, should investigate and if proof is found then the perpetrators should be held accountable. Then measures should be taken to correct the votes in any states which suffered from corruption.

This is how it's done in a democracy.

Every day on the news I see talk of Trump's cabinet picks. I do not see talk of a rigged election. I would imagine that if evidence of a rigged election existed then that story would lead the news.

P.S. Clinton beat Trump in the popular vote, this is true. However she didn't win where it counted and this appears to be because democrats in Philadelphia didn't like her enough to turn out and vote. And democrats in the midwest disliked her enough that they switched to Trump.

Clinton was outplayed. The democrats should learn and do better next time.
Following Ukraine's example will not lead to satisfaction.

Of course the election was rigged. Leading up to the election righties cried, rigged, rigged, rigged. Now when Trump won, the cries stopped, the lame stream righty media stops.

    hmmm...go figure

Correct, Hillary lost because of a rigged Electoral College.

She won the popular vote, so much for being disliked.

    oops!

Yep, thanks for pointing out the hypocrisy of the left. All is fine until your candidate loses then all hell breaks loose with the left doing what it claimed the right would do. This election was all about left wing projection from Trump losing to the right rioting.

You should contact the media with your proof of a rigged election and a rigged electoral college. They would love to break the story. Perhaps if you contact the Clinton campaign they will give you money to further investigate. If your proof is legitimate and substantial then you will be a hero and Clinton may offer you an ambassador position somewhere. My advice, do not accept position as Ukrainian ambassador.

Since I didn't vote for Hillary there is no reason for me to contact her campaign, but thanks for the suggestion

Oh, Hillary won the popular vote. So much for her being disliked

They don't even pretend to be peaceful hippies anymore. Bolshevism was always at the heart of the modern progressive movement. They don't feel they have to hide it anymore.

Civil rights group condemns move to block Trump inauguration protests

A civil rights group on Wednesday urged US officials to free up Washington landmarks for thousands of people planning protests around the inauguration of president-elect Donald Trump.

The Washington-based Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF) said the National Park Service (NPS) had handed over control of sites such as the Lincoln Memorial to the private committee overseeing Trump’s inauguration “weeks” before and after the ceremony on January 20.

That move has left at least a dozen protest groups without prime venues, a violation of Americans’ constitutional rights, fund officials said. The Lincoln Memorial is a symbolic reminder as the site of 1960s protests for civil rights and against the Vietnam War.

The National Park Service “has done a massive land grab inhibiting all those who want to exercise their right to free speech,” Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, a constitutional rights lawyer and PCJF executive director, said at a news conference.

Officials are expecting around a million people to descend on Washington for the inauguration and events surrounding it.

Several groups have vowed to demonstrate, including more than 137,000 people who have said they would take part in a march for women’s rights on January 21, Donald Trump's scheduled first full day in office.

Michael Moore -- who predicted Donald Trump would win the presidency months before his surprise victory -- is now encouraging people to protest the President-elect's upcoming inauguration.

"Disrupt the Inauguration. The Majority have spoken – by nearly 2.7 million votes &counting! Silence is not an option,” Moore tweeted Wednesday.

The liberal filmmaker shared a link to the website for DisruptJ20, a campaign for "a bold mobilization against the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, 2017."

The website states, "We call on all people of good conscience to join in disrupting the ceremonies. If Trump is to be inaugurated at all, let it happen behind closed doors, showing the true face of the security state Trump will preside over. It must be made clear to the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his presidency or consent to his rule."

DisruptJ20 is planning D.C.-based protests on the day of Trump's inauguration, but also asks people to protest on "the streets wherever you are."

The social justice organization also calls for worldwide action.

"If you are living outside the US, you can take action at US embassies, borders, or other symbols of neocolonial power. Our allegiance is not to 'making America great again,' but to all of humanity and the planet. #DisruptJ20."

    Anti-Trump Activists Plan Road-Blocking 'Clusterf--k' for Inauguration
A moderate effort plans to picket the parade route, but a more radical rabble seeks to shut down the show.

The last time a Republican was elected president after losing the popular vote, George W. Bush’s inaugural parade turned into a tunnel of boos and rude signs, as eggs – and some protesters – flew over security fences toward the motorcade.

Organizers anticipate even more visible dissent when Donald Trump rolls down Pennsylvania Avenue toward the White House on Jan. 20.

One major faction plans an orderly but large demonstration along the parade route. But a more radical effort operating under the tagline “no peaceful transition” seeks to block major roads into the nation’s capital and prevent foot traffic from reaching security checkpoints along the route.

“So, we’re going for what I’d generally term a clusterf--k,” says Legba Carrefour, a local anarchist handling press for the more radical protest-organizing network DisruptJ20, which has more than 1,700 Facebook group members.

“We are planning to shut down the inauguration, that’s the short of it,” he says. “We’re pretty literal about that, we are trying to create citywide paralysis on a level that I don’t think has been seen in D.C. before. We’re trying to shut down pretty much every ingress into the city as well as every checkpoint around the actual inauguration parade route.”

    ADVERTISING

Carrefour says more than 200 people attended an organizing meeting at a local church Sunday on short notice. Photos show supporters representing a range of ages and interests. A member of the antiwar group Code Pink posed with a sign, as did people upset about Trump’s comments on Muslims, women and policing.

“Rapists deserve hell, not the White House,” one woman’s sign said.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - NOVEMBER 10: Protesters of President-elect Donald Trump hold up signs during a march on I-94 on November 10, 2016 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Thousands of people across the country have taken to the streets in protest in the days following the election of Republican Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton.

    EXPAND GALLERY

Members of various progressive groups are involved in DisruptJ20, but as individuals rather than institutional representatives, Carrefour says. The group’s website describes it as being assisted by the DC Welcoming Committee collective of experienced activists.

Protest plans often are overambitious and it’s unclear if there will be enough bodies or sacrificial vehicles to block roadways, or people willing to risk arrest by doing so, though Carrefour says the group has coordinated housing for a large number of out-of-town visitors and believes preliminary signs point to massive turnout.

The more moderate planning effort is led by the ANSWER Coalition – an acronym that stands for Act Now to Stop War and End Racism. New York organizer Ben Becker says the group is seeking to stage an enormous demonstration along the route near the White House, assuming they are given permission for a spot that’s traditionally captured by national TV cameras.
