Do you even google? How can you be this far out of the loop. Google "segregated dorms" and read the HUNDREDS of articles talking about it. The left and the alt right have come together, they both are VERY VERY down with segregating the races. If you are denying that this happening, you are denying reality.

And where is your empirical support for this contention, that the longer diverse people live and work together, the friendlier they become?

As an extreme example of this not being true, I cite the Hutu and the Tutsi, or the Serbs and Croats.

 

People by default like to live in a community filled with people that look like them and share their culture. That is why white flight is phenomenon in every country on earth. It is also why immigrants all move to the same area and take it over.

 

Dominant groups don't like losing power.

 

This is true but we are losing both that shared sense of purpose and values.
We are so rich and bored with success that we divide bitterly over things we used to agree on and that used to be our values.

We all need to drop the divisive issues.
Let things stagnate and work on the things we can all agree on.

There's a reason why when you join or are drafted into the military they cut off all of your hair and everyone wears the same uniform, they take away your personal identity and everyone looks the same. One big mean green killing machine.

Sometimes scholarly researchers complicate explainable events through over analysis. All people of different racial, religious, ethnic and gender identities have to do to become friends is focus on things that they have in common and treat each other with respect and acceptance, instead of criticism and judgement. Respect and acceptance are basic human needs that forge bonds.

 

The U.S. military is an excellent example of the success of diversity. Everyone there is an individual with a separate identity but the fact that they are soldiers committed to upholding their duty to serve is a major element that they have in common, facilitating strong bonds that transcend their differences. They have to have mutual respect and even trust one another. Their lives depend on it.

I've seen that argument before, and it's totally backwards. The military excels (or it has in the past) in taking people from diverse backgrounds and getting them integrated into a one mission, one culture, team oriented unit. They impose a top down "green machine" culture. That's the very opposite of diversity. It's e pluribus unum, out of many one, not out of many, many.

 

Diversity is being used as a method to destroy Western science. It hasn't got there yet but the left is very enraged that all of the Nobel prizes given out to those who make significant scientific breakthroughs are not diverse in the least.

 

By building our houses, pouring our driveways, shingling our roofs, and harvesting our food?

 

That is: taking our jobs. But that is not the point. The point is diversity reduces social cohesion irregardless of the work illegal aliens perform.
