You don't know how much iPhone manufacturers are making, but it's less than Apple.

Do you understand how crazy that statement is?

    I think we're through here.

Thanks for the exchange of thoughts.

    Have a nice day.

When our opponents are lovers of lies, the question answers itself.
Rhetoric that repels lovers of lies unites lovers of truth.

I looked it up and you're about right. Foxconn, for instance is making slightly more than Apple in 2017.

Do you think Foxconn woukd be as succesful in the United States?

I guess you also forgot that Foxxconn is building a plant here in the US.

Actually, they charge their hourly price + whatever parts are needed + a very healthy charge for stocking/ordering the part which last I checked can run up to twice what the part costs. So if a repair dude gets a call to repair something, they start the clock as soon as they start their truck up, and the clock doesn't stop ticking until they're parked back at their garage/place of employment. if part A-23b costs 10 bucks and it takes 30 minutes to drive to the job and you're charging 50 an hour, and then an hour to fix it, the bill is going to be 120 + tax.

Yeah, but the majority of these repair dudes work for somebody. So how much of a cut do they actually get out of that total cost?

But let's say the repair dude owns the business. How much does it cost to own and maintain the repair dude vehicle? How much does it cost to insure it, and the business? How much in employer taxes does repair dude pay? How many service calls can a repair dude make in one day?

No Nation on earth has been successful repairing and servicing another Nations products.

Well okay, yeah those are expenses that have to be calculated into the total price.

I know several of those guys. Some of them do pretty good, but it really depends on their abilities to do a job without messing something up. One mistake, and they're back on the job the next day working for free.

I just wanted to pipe in to point out that it's a bit more than whatever they charge per hour. I guess it's like buying a new car. The sticker price is one thing, but by the time it's all added up, you're thinking what happened to that 19,999 thousand dollar price tag on the windshield?

Wherever possible I believe that people who are divided, should divide.
There is no need for both sides to not get what they want when both sides can.
