It sounds like he'd be happier if whites didn't eat in black owned restaurants and didn't date black people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibiBf288A2M
Muhammad Ali vehemently promoted racial segregation and opposed interracial marriages. The media - particularly media-left - predictably loved him!
Of course some blacks want (or think they want) segregation, just like some people of other skin colours do. That’s because we all have a lot more in common that any of them would like to imagine.
Some people are asshles, this guy is one of them. He, like many, many, many people in the world need to mind their own (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) business.
I am not a black person and cannot speak for them. I believe that when segregation is praised by certain individuals within the black community it is from the economic perspective. Integration destroyed some thriving black communities and businesses. Usually when we think of the word “segregation”, the image of black people being forced to sit at the back of the bus or forbidden from entering a White proprietorship comes to mind (the Jim Crow laws). We forget that segregation has many different variaties and manifestations. There is social segregation, sometimes manifested in what is usually called “ghettoization”. Social segregation was actually a good thing for black communities, as it made them economically independent.
I talked to my Uncle about this recently who said that integration was bad for Blacks because it damaged Black owned businesses. I'm sure he was not saying he wants to sit at the back of the bus or go to a Colored bathroom but some Blacks and other groups do believe in self-segregation. The Nation of Islam believes in self-determination for Blacks and also opposed interracial relationships which Muhammad Ali was very vocal about. This is a racist mentality and that video of the Black cameraman harassing the Black man for being on a date with his White girlfriend in a Black owned restaurant was disgusting.
The Nation of Islam is much larger than than the KKK, yet the left and their media virtually ignore them while continually propagandizing the KKK.
The KKK have a much longer history, greater influence on society and record of overt hatred and terrorism than the National of Islam.
some blacks and some whites do I am sure..... but most do not - - - Updated - - - the kkk is Christian, we do not blame all Christians for the kkk.... same is True with the Muslim religious nuts the kkk burned a cross in front of black peoples houses, should we ban crosses? .
I'm a Christian, and the KKK isn't Christian. Now some KKK members may claim to be Christian, but the KKK isn't endorsed by any Christian Church that I know of.
In many ways Blacks and Whites have self segregated due to societal problems. White people tend to avoid high crime areas and black people tend to live in or create these. Thus do we have "Black Communities" in most cities that business and non-black people avoid. Though this does not seem right...it IS the reality.
that is the point, not all Muslims are terrorists either.... the kkk may be Christian, light up the Cristian cross in acts of violence, but not all Christians are the kkk
Islam is a terrorist religion. Founded by a terrorist. The founder of Christianity was a man of love and peace that died for me. The founder of Islam was a man of war and demands his followers die for Allah. Islam is hateful. Christianity is love and forgiveness. There's no comparison.
as much so as Christianity, but most of each religion are good people Christianity has a evil side too, look at history.... . .
I'm not talking about the people. I'm talking specifically about the founding and founders of Islam and Christianity. Mohammed was an evil barbarian that went around committing atrocities. Jesus was a man of love and peace and went around doing good.
read the OT, that is the same God Christians and Muslims believe in..... so you do not believe that Jesus will see you or your loved ones burn in hell for eternity if you do not believe in him..... or any of the bad stuff god did in the OT? God did not change in Christianity, just he supposedly had a son that was better then God was .
You obviously don't understand the difference between the old and new testament and what happened on the cross. You're really not equipped for this conversation. We'll try again with another topic later.
Not true. From its conception Islam has been all about terrorism and sharia law. - - - Updated - - - However 70% of Muslims support sharia law.
I'm talking about the KKK vs. the Nation of Islam not the religion of Islam. Christianity has its fair share of radical religious teachings and historical atrocities if you want to go there. But as an organization the KKK is much older than the Nation of Islam. That is a fact.
I'm sorry black people supporting Islam is like Jews supporting the third Reich. The only reason any black tribes ever became Muslim is because the conquering hordes threatened to behead them.
So the nation of Islam doesn't practice Islam? Well, it isn't really even a drop in the bucket compared to Islam. And also the western culture and Christianity had the Renaissance and Islam is still in the peak of its dark age with no end in sight. So we can go there. so what? The Klan is history. The nation of Islam is current events.
So you think there are muslims out there that think Allah is wrong or that the Quran is incorrect and still practice the faith? I would absolutely love to hear from these muslims. Can you show that they actually exist? And to say the Klan is Christian is really painting with a really wide brush. They're really a cult that barrows Christianity. Because terrorism in the form of making all non-Muslims demi citizens under sharia law, the prescription of waging war against all non-Muslims and the keeping of slaves is specifically condoned and suggested, by the Quran directly. I can absolutely say with all confidence that terrorism isn't a cult that borrows from Islam but it is an integral part of it. Nothing in the gospels say to hate people that are different from you. So the key characteristic that destinguishes the Klan from other Christians is not from Christianity.
