Considering she signed an agreement that said that she was in the full understanding of the rules and regulations on handling classified information and that she thought the C was just a letter of the alphabet?

If not, should what should be the consequences?

Do I believe Hilary thought (C) and (S) and the other classification markings at the start of every paragraph of a classified document were some sort of alphabetical ordering label? There is only one answer to that: :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

If she did not know, then she has admitted incompetency. Further, if unfit to be SOS, then why would she expect anyone to be convinced she is competent to be Prez. Just saying

Anyone remotely interested in why the "c" was buried in the text? Anyone care what the actual essence of that message referred to? Anyone interested in the over classification of government communications? Didn't think so. When you are looking for signs of witch craft, a black cat walking by will do.

Yeah, file that one under (C) for CRAZY.

But there's a serious issue here. Did Hillary Clinton sign an agreement saying that she was in the full understanding of the rules and regulations pertaining to the handling of classified information, or didn't she? If she did (and yes, that appears to be her signature on the Security Briefing / Debriefing Acknowledgment), shouldn't that understanding have included what the C marking indicates? Sorry Secretary Clinton, but working as the nation's top diplomat should involve a certain sense of the responsibilities that come along with that position...

Does it really matter? If Hillary truly didn't know what (c) meant, then that means she's incompetent and isn't fit to be president. If she did know what (c) meant, then that means she's lying (what a surprise) to the FBI and should be locked up meaning she can't be president. Either way she's shouldn't be president. Why are ppl voting for her again?

There is no doubt that she was briefed repeatedly. Imagine how many classified briefings the US Sec of State has every day, each one with a little security briefing before it starts.

The fact she claimed she thought the paragraph markings were some sort of alphabetical ordering is so unbelievable it proves she is unqualified to hold any office.

And the fact the FBI did not jump all over that absurd claim proves the FBI was in the tank for her.

Sounds like desperation on the part of the Republicans here.

She says she did not know the "c" meant "confidential."

    Big deal.

In any case, "confidential" is the lowest form of security classification. The city an air base is in...is classified as confidential. You can look at a road sign and get the information...but it is classified as confidential.

This is all silliness on the part of the Republicans.

They've got to do a lot better than this to stop Hillary from being elected president next November.

Trafficking in classified document is a felony. She lied her way out of felony charges. She knows exactly what the classified markings mean. She spent 8 years in the WH, 6 years on the Senate Armed Services Committee and then 4 years as Secretary of State!

Just a question for people here who have actually held security clearances:

Have any of you ever seen anything marked Confidential (besides personal information like SSN's) that wasn't available via Wikipedia or Jane's?

I am such a person. At least I was in the 70's.

Although some classified info is often in the news, the reason for its classification is that if confirmed, it would be a small piece of a larger puzzle. Intelligence gathering (weather HUMINT, ELINT. or SIGINT) is largely small pieces of info gathered from multiple resources, and assembled into a known.

    God bless America

Whether she knew, or not, is immaterial.

If she knew, then she lied to the FBI and is a security risk, and that should preclude her from the presidency. If she didn't know, then she's an idiot and a security risk, and that should preclude her from the presidency. Either way, same result. (For the record, IMO, HRC is anything but an idiot.)

I certainly intend to vote for her...and will do so with enthusiasm. Probably more enthusiasm than I originally though, but back then I though the Republicans were going to offer a reasonable alternative...which they didn't.

    Absolutely none.

The name of the commander of a base is usually considered "Confidential" in written form. The location of an air base that can easily be located using Google maps...would be marked "Confidential."

This entire line of crap being thrown at Hillary Clinton is hilarious, because of the desperation it shows by the throwers.

    Option 7 — I don't care.

We have two choices on the ballot right now. Hillary ain't perfect, she's not the candidate I would have liked. She's better than the alternative.

Of course, Clinton should have known what abbreviated designations on documents mean.

And her not knowing is in no way mitigated by Dirty Don having no idea either.
