This is a name that few people know and that everyone should. He is a far right wing extremist who goal is to establish the U.S. as a Christian Theocracy and he has got the ear of many prominent and influential Republican.

I believe that we as a nation-not just liberals and Democrats- should be very concerned about this. I do not think that most Republican would be comfortable with so many of their politicians being in bed with this person. Most Republican and conservative want this county to be a fair and just country for everyone. David Lane want anything but that. That is why he has been operating under the radar Read more below

Oh, what this is really about is that he dared criticize and opposes homosexual marriage and homosexuals.

Everything else is just a red herring.

    Per usual.

Yep. The libs troll the internet looking for stuff like this, and then they post it in discussion forums so people are supposed to react in shock and outrage.

Problem is, this has gone beyond the "boy who cried wolf" stage. Way beyond. Already.

So like, I'm supposed to be outraged by this guy who's raising money and running candidates for office? Oh, such drama.....

And the guy happens not to like queers, and because of that I'm supposed to be outraged?

Tell ya what, dudes and dudettes - if this guy has the 'nads to get anything done in Weaselton DC, and whatever he wants to get done is actually constitutional, then in my view he's a viable candidate who already has one up on Hillary and Jeb.

The gay thing is insignificant, it's a nit. The conservative Christian thing is a nit too. Pretty soon, none of that is going to matter, if this country keeps going the way it's going.

That's quite a rant dude. You are concerned about what they get done being constitutional but unconcerned about the goal of establishing a theocracy? How does that make sense?

These people would make a mockery of the constitution and America. I'll bet that you consider yourself a patriot. Read my bio.

So you don't like gay folks either? There is a thread ( or 12) for that.

If Christians were really out to establish a theocracy they would have done so long ago and you wouldn't even be here, or would be a completely different person.

The Islamists want a theocracy too. Doesn't mean they're going to get one.

How do you know this? You think you're God? You know the outcome before it actually happens?

I'm not going to respond to this kind of flamebait. My record speaks for itself.

The only people in this country trying to establish a theocracy are the progressives, of course worshiping at the altar of ever more government is perfectly all right even if it is unconstitutional.

Yo bro. Get real. They have a few already. Can you say Saudi Arabia? Iran?

I didn't say that I know that they would succeed . I said that I know what they want -as evidenced by their own words. And if they can dupe enough people into mindlessly following them , they will succeed . If these people get into power we're screwed. Why are you in denial about that?

Excuse me??!! YOU pejoratively used the term "queer" and trivialized the gay rights issue.....but I'm the one flame-baiting? You might want to look up that definition.....dude

Saudi Arabia is a monarchy, not a theocracy.

And I can't speak for Iran (not having been there recently), but last I heard they were actually holding elections over there, so.... not "technically" a theocracy.

Israel is actually "almost" as much of a theocracy as Iran is....

(not that it matters, I believe that to them are the most important two words in our Declaration of Independence)

So that's your fear? They're going to "dupe enough people into mindlessly following them"?

Kind of like this administration did with Benghazi? Kind of like the "hope and change" bit?

Dude, you're way out of your league. Stick with the simple stuff. You're not qualified to judge anyone's denial or lack thereof.

    I did?

    I did something pejorative?

    Really?

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but queer is a socially acceptable word that gays call each other, and gays use to refer to themselves.

    Is that not true?

Pal, if you can say it, I can say it too.

And the "pejorative" part is all in your mind. Like I said, my record speaks for itself. Why don't you go read through my historical posts and engage your remaining brain cells and try to figure out where I stand on all matters gay. 'Kay?

Do that before you open your mouth again, 'k plz? Tnx.

Seriously? You might want to look up the definition of theocracy. Is it possible that you can't see what these people want to do? Or, perhaps you agree with them but pretend that you don't know in order lull others into complacency

It's not the size of government that I worry about. It's what it does and how well it does it. These people want to use government to invade and control every aspect of private life in the name of religion. How the hell is that consistent with small government?

I wouldn't know. It's not relevant to the thread

Yes! It that so far fetched?

    Irrelevant and off topic.

    Ya think......? dude....

I have better thing to do than to research you. I have a life. I'm basing my comments on what I'm seeing here and now. It's about how a word is used and who is using it. Kind of like the "N" word

No, no we don't. What we want is not to be compelled to accept behavior that we find unacceptable and not infrequently self destructive. I want the federal government out of the abortion issue and that includes the courts, I want the feds and the federal courts out of the gay marriage issue. By the way that's our two issues. The elft wants the government to control everything from mhow much or how little your boss pays you to what sort of light bulb you have in your house to what size car you should drive and who your neighbors are. And you have the notion Christians are trying to control every aspect of your life? Good grief.

Then there was the woman who complained about all the sex on the TV.

    She kept on falling off.

I saw the words "christian" and "theocracy" in the article. Not much proof of anything else. Sounds made up from the get go.

Believe it or not, there are Christians who do want America to be a theocracy.

But that has nothing to do with the op.

I thought they all did? Isn't that the point? to convert the whole world to Christianity through indoctrination, or by force? to create a christian utopia here on earth??

Not very familiar with Christianity or Christians eh?

Christian: I think marriage is between a man and a woman.

Response: OMG, Christians want to turn every country into a theocracy and take over the world by force and tell us all what to do! Run away. Run away.

Why care about a nobody? It's like being worried about a nutty church in FL with 100 members. Liberals would make you believe they have a massive following. That's because they looooooove painting isolated extremists as average conservatives or Republicans. It's marketing 101. Lying 101. Political scumbagery 101

Oh Christ, how many more times do I have to hear this pissing and moaning about “behavior” No doubt that you mean sexual behavior as though that is all homosexuality was about and that you were being forced to witness it. Furthermore nobody wants or expects you to accept anything. What is wanted is for you to mind your own business and not worry about how other people behave in private. Hell, I don’t like the way some people behave in public but unless it directly affects me it’s not my business.

So do I. The courts would have never been involved in these issues at all if the religious conservatives didn’t stick their nose into people’s private lives and try to control them with restrictive laws.

And the right want’s government to control nothing except what people do in private and all aspects of their personal life like reproduction, and who you can marry. Beyond that it’s hands off. Hands off the corporations and the banks that want to destroy the environment and rob us blind. Hands off of the fat cats who want a country by the rich and for the rich. Go ahead, elect conservative Christians and you will have the best of the two worlds that you apparently want. And oligarchy and a theocracy. Can’t you see this? Good grief!

BTW, You never did explain that nonsensical comment about the left wanting a theocracy

New shows, to be PC, include homosexual parts, so unless you want to stop watching TV altogether, you will be inundated with the current PC push.
